Hello my lovely readers! This was a request from the lovely @cloudlikesfandoms. This is my 3rd request and I really hope you like it!

He's late.

You've been waiting at the pit stop for your best friend, and secret crush, Robby for 30 minutes. He said you'd meet at 8:00. It's 8:45.

You thought you were late originally. But when you got there, his car wasn't anywhere to be seen.

"Robby, where are you?" You mutter under your breath, typing profusely on your phone.

You hear a car engine roll up and shut off in front of you just before you hit the send button. Robby steps out and you glare at him.

"Robby, I've been waiting, for 30 minutes! Where were you? You told me to wait here and meet you at 8:00. Now look what time it is!" You shove the phone in his face and he calmly pushes it out of the way.

"You done?" He asks. You nod your head and get in the passenger seat to his car. He gets in after you.

"Why did you wanna talk all the sudden? I thought you had a nice life now. A girlfriend, a place to stay, schooling." You lay emphasis heavily on the word.

You and Robby had been super close since you met in second grade. You'd skip school together once you got older. But, you hate to say it, he got a life. Away from you.

You were sour about it but you talked occasionally. You'd hang out ever so often. What you hated most is you liked him. A lot. You'd go as far as to say you loved him. But it had been like that for as long as you could remember. But, he had a girlfriend.

"Where are we going?" You ask, putting down the sun visor. "I don't know. I just wanted to see you." You felt your cheeks heat up and looked at his face. He meant what he said, but is seemingly unfazed.

"You know you could have come over. That would have been easier. You know moms never home." He sighs and pushes his head against the steering wheel.

"Listen y/n. There's something I-" you hear a nock on your window and turn your head. You see Tory outside your window.

You and Tory were friends before she moved to East high. (It's east high right? I don't remember and I'm too lazy to look it up) you roll down you side's window.

"Hey bitch. I didn't know you were friends with the Miyagi brats." You take a short glance at Robby then back to Tory. "Miyagi whats?" You ask.

You honestly have no idea what she's talking about. "You mean you seriously don't know? Your little boyfriend does Karate. So do I and a bunch of other kids from school." She pops a piece of candy in her mouth and crunches down on it.

"You do karate?" You look over to Robby who's still not paying attention, you guess because of Tory being present.

"I wouldn't know, I don't go to your school." She throws the wrapper behind her and hums.

"I guess your right. Anyway, I've got a date. Later losers." She drums her index fingers the the car window before walking away. Robby lets out a large breath.

"Yes, I do karate now. It's helped with my anger issues and-" "thats why your shoulder is so messed up! I'm right, aren't I?" He sighs and nods his head. You grunt and sit back.

"Can I come to a match?" You ask. He looks at you with wide eyes.

"You're not mad?" He asks. You shake your head.

"I don't see anything to be mad about. I think it's cool, really." He laughs and you blush. His laugh is amazing. You could listen to it all day.

"I was so worried that you'd be mad at me for something stupid. I don't know why I didn't tell you. I don't know what I was thinking." He laughs again and smiles.

"What I needed to tell you was... well- I have a date Saturday. And I need some help. I've never done this kind of thing before and-" "you have a date?" You ask. Your voice, emotionless, wavers slightly.

Tears sting your eyes as they threaten to fall. Robby rests and hand on your back. "W-Whats wrong?" He asks. You look him in the eyes as something flashes in them.

"I'm mad! We've known each other since we were like eight! Skipped school together, hind out at each others houses! We did everything together and you never once asked me about anything! I like you Robby! A lot! And I just never wanted to say anything because I thought it would ruin our friendship and- and I'm sorry. I'll leave." You reach for the car handle and open the door. As your stepping out Robby grabs your wrist and pulls you back in the car.

"Robby! What- let me go!" The look in his eyes is worried. Almost a pained type of way.

"You meant what you said, didn't you?" You didn't know how to answer. You weren't good at these things. Stubborn till the very end and feelings were unimportant. That's why you ignored them.

"Answer me, damn it!" He let's go of your wrist. His eyes misty.

"For as long as I can remember that has been the truth." Your breath comes out ragged and forced. Your body shutting down it's functions all on its own. You look away from Robby, feeling as if his eyes could see through your soul.

"I like you too." His voice almost a whisper. Raspy and deep. You jerk your head to look at your best friend, who quickly closes the gap between you two with a kiss.

"I can cancel the date."
