"it's him" you said almost dropping your phone in shock. he had a crush on you. and you liked his best friend. "hey y/n!" you heard hinata behind you. putting on a fake smile, you turned around greeting him back. "hey hinata. and kageyama" you gave him a smile and saw his cheeks turn pink. "so uhh sorry i kinda shut you down the other day, but i cleared up some time and was wondering if you wanted to hang out this tomorrow?"

hearing this, jealousy hit kageyama and he walked a head slowly still trying to hear what you'll say. "sorry i cant, you already said you couldn't so i made plans..sorry" you lied. kageyama stopped walking, a small feeling of hope growing inside of him. so he rejected you and now you're rejecting him. with a slight smile, kageyama walked to his class.
