"no sorry i don't play volleyball." you said trying to walk out again. "i-i just saw you play" "i dont play. i'm not good enough. i used to for fun but nothing competitive." your three ex best friends and your three new friends were confused. she was the best on the team. your old teammates thought. "but i thought you played back in junior high-" "i. don't. play."
through gritted teeth, you cut hinata off walking out of the gym. you were beyond pissed. you didn't hate yachi but you were jealous of her. you wanted to be the one holding onto kageyama. you wanted to be his girlfriend. you wanted to be on the volleyball team and not just on the sidelines. but you were scared. scared you would get injured again and kicked off like last time. scared to be rejected a third time. so you stayed in your comfort zone.
[2:26 pm]
you could feel yourself crying. you sat down in your seat not wanting to think about kageyama or volleyball anymore. you decided that you would just avoid kageyama and everyone else on the volleyball teams. but that's not what the world wanted for you. feeling at tap on your shoulder. you turned around seeing kageyama handing you a tissue. "here. i can hear you crying." he said coldly. with a thanks you turned back reading your book. start conversation with her. "why are you crying?" he asked knowing damn well the reason why. you replied with a cold "nothing". understanding that you didn't want to talk he didn't say anything else.
