Meredith frowned as she heard the bickering of two patients, discussing the death of the doctor. She couldn't help but feel it was her fault, even though it wasn't logically possible.
"Hey." Someone whispered from behind her. She turned and saw a pale girl with long skinny arms and black hair covering her face. It reminded Meredith of the grudge, making her shiver.
"Hi." Meredith muttered, turning back to face the table.
"Can I, um, sit?" The grudge asks. Meredith nods her head and the grudge implies, sitting across from her.
The grudge picked at her skin and scratched her head. It made Meredith think she had head lice. That or she was whack in the head. Possibly both, but Meredith was leaning more onto the second choice. Seems as all they are in a mental asylum.
"So, that doctor died huh?" The grudge chuckled and furiously scratched her neck. Meredith shrugged and picked the paint off the table. "What a shame."
"Yea, he seemed nice." Meredith mumbled. The grudge extended out her arm to shake Meredith's hand.
"The name's Susan." The grudge, or should she say Susan, grinned. She breathed heavily constantly, which must be something normal for her. However, it gave Meredith the chills.
"Meredith." She said softly, shaking Susan's hand.
"I must go." Susan shook her head," but don't worry. You're secret, about the doctor, is safe with me."
This left Meredith in shock. Why would Susan think she was keeping a secret, and how could she have a possible clue about what it was? The two just met. It made no possible sense.
Calum glanced towards Meredith from across the eatery. He continued to play chess with the old lady in front of him. The lady became distressed, throwing a game piece at Calum and storming off to change the music on the stereo.
He kept his eyes on Meredith, who shortly locked eyes with him. She immediately hid her face, leaving Calum in question. Why has she been avoiding him lately? And why was that making Calum upset?
He turned to look at Meredith again, only to see her sneak off into the other rooms.

Calum followed Meredith down the long hallway. She zipped around corners and through doors until she finally stopped. Calum his behind a wall and watched her closely. She stood in front of room no. 5. She peeked through the small square.
"What do you see?" Calum asked, making her jump. She looked him right in the eye and shook her head.
"Nothing." She muttered, brushing past him and heading off. Calum stood in front of the door in silence.
As for Meredith, she sure did see something. Something unexplainable.
