Meredith was finding it very hard to sleep. She kept thinking of what she saw, what she's been seeing since she was 13.

"Meredith!" One of the other nurses called from her cell door. Meredith shot out of bed and followed the other patients to the showers.

She washed her body softly and hummed to an old song her Mother used to listen to. Screams erupted through the showers as female patients refused to bathe, making Meredith quite jumpy.

She finished her shower and walked into the cafeteria. She spotted the grudge, or should she say Susan, sitting by herself at a table and talking to herself. She also saw Calum waving her over. She glanced at him and quickly sat across from Susan, causing him to look at her strangely.

"Oh, hey Mackenzie." Susan smiled.

"It's Meredith." Meredith corrected her. Susan laughed loudly then began to scratch the table. "What do you think I did to the doctor?"

"You killed him." Susan sang shakily. "With that noggin' of yours!"

Meredith rubbed between her eyes and held her head in her hands. "I just don't understand how you can think it's possible."

"I know it's possible. They told me you did it. They told me you're dangerous." Susan looked Meredith dead in the eyes and breathed heavily.

"I'm not dangerous. I couldn't hurt a fly." Meredith shook her head.

"Well you killed a man," Susan shrugged and laughed wildly, "and he was a human hA"

Realising listening to Susan wasn't going to help her out anymore, Meredith got up and walked over to sit with Calum.

"What was that?" Calum asked and Meredith shook her head and picked at some of the food on Calum's tray. "Do you know her?"

"Her name's Susan." Meredith sighed and looked over at her as she played with the ends of her hair. "I think she's crazy."

"We're all crazy. That's why we are here." Calum waved his hands in her face, earning a cold stare from a security guard watching. "Sorry." He mumbled, waving the security guard off and stuffing bread into his mouth.

Meredith turned to look at the security guard and looked back at Calum with a raised eyebrow.

"People need to watch you when you nearly murdered your family." He shrugged, "Because they think I might murder you."

"They think that?" Meredith frowned.

"I always hear them talking about it and they told me that I shouldn't hang out with you so I told them to fuck off. All they ever do is get rid of people I care about." He shook his head and ate his food aggressively.

"You care about me?" Meredith smiled.

"I guess. You're my only friend." He shrugged and leant back in his chair. "Plus you're different."

Meredith didn't respond, instead, she ate Calum's last potato. Calum scrunched up his face and groaned.

"I was gonna eat that." He shook his head.

"Well now I am." She laughed, popping the small potato into her mouth. Calum laughed along with her and the two got up.

"Can I show you something?" He smiled. Meredith nodded and he grabbed her hand and tugged her out.

Security guards watched in alarm and one of them began to follow the two.

"Where are we heading?" Meredith asked in confusion as Calum tugged her around a corner.

"Somewhere great." Calum smiled cheekily and tugged Meredith around another corner.

He pulled her up to a door, causing her to frown.

"I don't see anything great about," She paused to read the sign, "Mr Rick O'Connor's office."

"He has a chocolate stash." Calum smiled wildly. Meredith's eyes widened and she smiled cheekily. Calum wiggled the handle and peeked his head through the doorway. "Okay now you go in there an-"

"Wait." Meredith cut him off and pointed to herself, "me?"

"Yeah, obviously." Calum scoffed and rolled his eyes, swinging the door open. "No I will you pussy."

Meredith watched as Calum quickly went into the office and scrambled around the desks and draws. He pulled out two chocolate bars and faced Meredith with a smile. Meredith laughed quietly as he slid out the door and shut it. He held the chocolate in front of her face and the two of them giggled.

"What do you think you're doing, Hood?" I loud voice sounded from behind Meredith. Calum looked up and Meredith spun around to see the officer that was watching Calum in the cafeteria.

"Just having a snack, sir." Calum smiled, causing Meredith to hold in a laugh.

"I saw the whole thing. You stole. So you're coming with me to the main office." The officer shook his head.

"Fuck." Calum cursed and looked at Meredith, "It'll be okay. I'll see you tomorrow, yea?"

Meredith nodded and quickly scurried off back to her cell.

Calum didn't know what he was in for.
