Meredith couldn't sleep, suddenly finding her feet pushing her cell open. There was chance she was going to get caught, but she didn't care. She wandered down the dark halls as she listened to people screaming at her as she passed.

"Hello Meredith." Someone whispered into her ear, making her spin to see nobody. She looked as an old lady glared at her through her cell door.

"Wasn't me." The lady seethed.

Meredith shook it off and walked faster towards where the main office was situated. A dim light was located in the middle, making her turn around and head in a completely opposite direction. She frowned as she walked into pitch black darkness, unable to see anything. She walked down stairs, her eyes adjusting slightly to the darkness. She frowned at the door in front of her, stating it was room no. 5. She swallowed the lump in her throat and looked down the hall to see a light shining underneath a door. She slowly walked closer, hearing abrupt yelling. She looked through the square hole, her eyes widening. The officer whipped Calum along his back, making him yelp in pain. A man and a lady sat at their desks, disapprovingly looking at Calum.

"What did he do again?" The lady mumbled.

"Stole from the machine." The officer shook his head, lashing at Calum again. Blood spilled slowly from the wounds on his back, his muscles tensing at every strike.

The lady and the man laughed at their desks as the officer kicked Calum to the floor. He groaned loudly and looked up at the door to see Meredith looking at him wide eyed. His jaw clenched as he stared at her blankly. The officer's face turned to look at Meredith, making her duck and run. The sound of the door open behind her. She quickly opened the closest door and ducked into the room. She stood in darkness as she stared through the square hole, watching the officer drag Calum by the arm through the hallway, glancing around.

"Meredith." A harsh whisper spoke from behind her, making her gasp... only to suddenly see black.

Little did she know, she hid in room no. 5.

Meredith's eyes shot open as she looked at the ceiling of her cell. She sat up, breathing heavily. She walked towards the cell door, the sun shining through the barred window warming her body. She shook the door as it was locked shut.

"Morning all!" Anastasia said joyfully through the halls as she, one by one, opened every cell. "Hello Meredith." She grinned as she unlocked her cell.

"Hi." Meredith mumbled and walked past her and out to the cafeteria. She glanced around and spotted an empty table, sitting down quickly and picking at the table.

Calum stormed into the cafeteria, striding over to sit across from Meredith. She glanced up at him as he stared off blankly. "Hi." She said softly, his gaze snapping towards her with a frown.

He nodded at her and shuffled slightly, hissing as his shirt rubbed against the wounds on his back. Meredith frowned, wondering how she woke up in her locked cell when the last thing she remembered was the faint whisper of her name in the dark room.

"You didn't deserve what happened last night you-" Meredith began, but Calum cut her off.

"Forget it even happened, Meredith." He spat and crossed his arms and rested them on the table.
