"Meredith!" Her mother screamed and ran to her side. Her slashed arms bled all over the floor. She had the face of death. Nothing seemed to phase her at this very moment. No emotion ran through her body. She stayed silent as her parents panicked and picked up her body. Her eyes began to become heavy and she felt weightless.
Her mother sobbed as her father called an ambulance. Meredith smiled innocently, her features full of sin. This wasn't the first time, no, Meredith was purely crazy and nobody could fix it. She looked up at her Mother as tears fell from her Mother's face. She felt pleasure in her Mother's pain.

"That was the sixth time, Meredith." her Mother sighed and sat on the end of the hospital bed. "This year." She sobbed quietly and Meredith glared at the mould on the roof. "We've tried therapy. You're not pulling through."
"So?" Meredith's voice was dry and her lips were cracked.
"You're going to the Sainsbury Mental Institution."

Because it was a prologue, it was short okay.
First book-on this account-so enjoy!
