Karma leads us out of the kitchen. We walk up a flight of stairs and into an open room. There's a couch in an L facing away from us, a table behind it. Against the wall is a large tv. In front of the couch is a coffee table.

He goes and sits down on the far side of the couch, by the wall. Putting his food on a small end table. Nagisa sat down close to Karma. Putting his food on the coffee table. I sat in the nook of the couch and placed my food on the coffee table as well. Karma grabbed the remote and began to go through a list of movies.

"What genre?" He asked as he took a drink from his glass.

"I don't care," Nagisa said, chowing down on his food.

I take a drink from my glass as well, before noticing them staring at me.

"It's up to you, (Y/N)," Karma smirks.

If I wasn't already making myself at home I'd feel too weird to answer.

"Horror," I take a bite of my food.

Karma grins and finds a horror movie with a high rating. I heard about it before. It's supposed to have a bunch of jump scares and stuff. He gets up and turns off every light but one, so we can see as we eat.

We finished eating fast and he asked me to turn off the last light. I asked where the light switch was and got up to turn it off. I found my way back to the couch to sit back down in my nook.

Suddenly something covered my body. I tensed up and threw it off. Karma stood over me laughing. I looked at what I threw. It was a small, thin blanket.

"Just in case you get chilly," he laughed and sat back down.

Nagisa cuddled up into his own blanket. Karma kept smiling as he watched the movie. I pull the blanket over myself and watch as well.

The movie is actually really scary. I had to snuggle onto my blanket and the couch to feel better. There are so many jump scares. It has a lot of gore too, which I care less about. I'm more scared of the random things popping at the screen.

I look over at Nagisa and Karma. Nagisa fell asleep. Karma is watching with a smile, while the preppy blonde girl that wouldn't stop falling gets murdered on screen. He has right elbow propped up on the arm rest, his hand in a fist to support his head. He's slouched, legs casually in that spread out position guys tend to sit in. He doesn't even look a little scared. Then he glances over at me and I look away. Please don't think I was staring.

•Karma's POV•

I catch (Y/N) looking at me, during the movie. She quickly moves her eyes back to the screen, when she sees me look over at her. I move my hand from my temple to slightly cover my mouth, as I smile. A jump scare pops up on screen and I see her slightly jolt her body, out of the corner of my eye.

My mind goes back to when I put that blanket over her. Why did she get so tense over it? It's like she thought she was being attacked or something. When she moved the blanket the first thing I saw was fear in her eyes. Why would she have been that afraid?

It could just be because she's in a strangers house. I wonder if it has something to do with a past experience. Do her parents hit her? Does she even live with them? I realize I don't know anything about her, besides her name and a small part of her personality.

I look at Nagisa. He fell asleep almost as soon as the movie started. What was the point in suggesting we watch a movie? Little shit just wanted to sleep.

The movie ends and I look at (Y/N) and Nagisa. Nagisa is still asleep, (Y/N) is stretching out and yawning. Time to wake Nagisa up.
