I had to scoot to the middle seat because Tugboat kept sticking his head out the window and stepping on me. Karma acted like he didn't notice, but he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers without looking at me. I hear John chuckle and see him looking at us in the mirror.

"How long until we get there?" I ask.

"Don't," Nico grumbled.

I smirked. "Hey, John~"

"(Y/N)!"

"Are we there yet?"

Nico let out a groan in irritation. I giggle.

"Nico, you have maps on your phone. So~"

"I'll smother you in your sleep."

"Are we there yet?"

•Karma's POV•

I have my elbow resting on the window seal while I watch as telephone poles and houses quickly move by. When she starts to pester Nico I smile a little. Quickly I move my hand that's not in hers and cover my mouth slightly, passing it off as me just resting my head against it.

"Karma," Nico groans, "make your girlfriend shut up."

"He isn't my-"

"I knew it!" John joyfully shouted.

"You didn't know shit. He's not my-"

"Babe, calm down," I take the arm with our hands still held, and move it over her shoulder so she's sort of hugging herself. I gladly watch as she hides her face in embarrassment into my elbow.

"We're not-" her voice is muffled and I cut her off by putting my other hand on her lower thigh.

I look up to see John grinning. I look through my window into the side mirror and see Nico wearing an angry expression. I love doing that to him. Anyone really. Seeing people mad makes me a lot happier than it should.

We stop at a warehouse and John tells us we're here. I've passed by this place three times now and I never would have thought it was an apartment building.

(Y/N) smiles and grabs Tugboats leash. She gets out and runs over to the side I'm getting out on. She sticks her hand out and I stare at it. After a second she shakes it to imply she wants me to hold it. I grab her hand and we lock fingers again.

She happily skips to a door and walks in behind John. As we go in I see the guys from earlier unloading the vans into a garage looking area on the other side. The part we enter in is larger. It has tables everywhere, like a cafeteria, and stairs leading to a catwalk on what seems to be the second floor.

John tells us to follow him and we do. Some little kids run over and start trying to play with Tugboat, riling him up. He barks and pulls on the leash, (Y/N) let's him and just keeps walking.

"Ooohhhh~" a girl with lilac hair teases. "Is this your boyfriend, (Y/N)?"

(Y/N) laughs. "Not yet," she looks at me. "This is Lilly. Lilly, this is Karma."

Lilly threw her arms around me for a hug, making me let go of (Y/N)'s hand. I awkwardly looked at her with my hands held up, not knowing what to do. I looked at (Y/N) and she smiled deviously at me, knowing I was uncomfortable. I'm definitely getting her back.

"Hey, Lilly," she says after a while, "this is Tugboat. He's really friendly and playful, take him to the other kids. You can play with him until it's bedtime."

"Okay!"

"Other kids?" I ask.

"There's about 15 young kids her age here."
