"Hey, I never asked you how you slept," Karma broke the silence that had been between is as we walked to school.
"Pretty good, actually. How about you?"
"Great. I haven't slept so good in a while. I think part of that is because of how exhausted I got yesterday, fighting so much."
"It was a busy day."
"Can I ask a question?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Did you flinch when I threw that blanket on you because of what Alastor did to you?"
I slowed down and looked at him. He slowed down with me and patiently waited for a response.
"Yeah, part of it was. Some of it was because of my step-dad. They aren't exactly good people."
"Can I ask another question?"
"You're probably going to ask it anyway."
He laughed. "What caused you to wake up screaming last night?"
"I had a nightmare."
"Yeah, I got that. What was it about?"
"Oh, nothing."
My head fell to the ground. He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers, looking away from me.
"I thought you weren't going to do that because we aren't dating."
He turned his head to me and smirked. "Friends hold hands. I've seen plenty of girls hold hands with their friends before. Don't you do that?"
"No. Did you just call yourself a girl?"
His face turned red and he looked away. "Don't push it, (Y/N). I can still beat you up."

We walked in silence the rest of the way to school. Once we arrived we went to our seats. Nagisa walked in and approached us. He looked from Karma, to me, back at Karma.
"What happened to your eye?" He asked Karma.
"I got in a fight," Karma replied calmly.
"Did you finally get a blow in?" Nagisa looked at me.
"No, my brother did that," I replied.
"Your," he paused, "brother?" He looked at Karma. "When did you meet her brother?"
"Last night," Karma said, putting his hands behind his head and smirking. "He's a little bitch."
"Karma!" I exclaimed.
He just laughed. Him and Nagisa chatted for a bit before Nagisa sat down. Koro Sensei came in and handed us all pamphlets.
"We're taking a trip?" Kayano asked, staring at the pamphlet in her hand.
"Yes," he replied. "We will all be visiting," he paused for dramatic effect, "Kyoto!"
The kids around us gasped and started to talk excitedly.
"I am going to go buy supplies for the trip," Koro Sensei continued. "Talk amongst yourselves."
He zoomed out of the building, leaving us confused and happy. I looked over at Karma, he was folding the pamphlet into an origami swan. Nakamura stood up and began to talk.
"Okay, guys. Koro Sensei likes to over do things so it's likely he won't be back for a while. He's going to try and make this trip perfect. Let's get the traps set up now."
