Spring break

Shuri POV
I've always loved travelling. Wakanda's great and all but it just doesn't have the excitement and business everyday that you get in other places. I have met pretty much all of the Avengers in passing but my favourite Avenger and possibly my best friend is Peter. We text all the time and we video call each other at least one a month to show the other what we have been working on. He has always mentioned his friends MJ and Ned, they seem cool but I have never met them.

Since Peter's aunt May died last year, he had been having lots more sensory overloads. He has never had one in front of me but I get the idea they are really painful and upsetting. Mr Stark took Peter in and secretly arranged for me to come and visit over his spring break.

As I landed I saw Mr Stark standing in the door way between the landing bay and the tower entrance, when I got out, he greeted me, explained that Peter wasn't here and gave me a tour of the tower.  We got some food and then I went to Peter's lab where Mr Stark and I talked about some designes for new suites and how Miss Potts was out on buisness.  He also showed me the hologram table and where everything was, which I picked up as it is really similar to the one in my lab at home. By now it was nearly 3 and Peter was due back at 3:10.

As Mr Stark wanted this to be a surprise for Peter, he told MJ so she could keep him out of the tower for long enough.

Peter POV

Today had been so much fun, I can't deal with lots of noise, light, smells, etc. without someone there with me to ground me.  MJ ended up taking me to this 80's style diner for breakfast followed by a walk around Corona Park where we went to the Hall of Science, finishing with a competitive game of minigolf.

I got back to Stark Tower from my little adventure with MJ, Ned went to visit his cousin who lives in Delaware for three days and was coming back the next day.  We said goodbye and she said "Have fun", I wondered what does that mean?

F.R.I.D.A.Y. greeted me in her usual fashion of "Hello Mr Parker," she continued to say that "Mr.Stark is waiting for you in your lab."  With perk in my step I went upstairs to my lab.  My spidey sence started to sence something, not danger though, but I brushed it off as excitement to see Mr Stark.

I got out of the elevator and scanned my hand on the keypad, normally when I walked in the lights would automatically turn on instead I walked over to the light switch and switched it on to see two people sat on my desk.  "Shuri!" I shouted with happiness as I ran over to her.

"Hey, you should lookat yourself more in a mirror, your face was priceless" she replied with a classic MJ style smirk on her face.

The rest of the afternoon and evening we talked, brainstormed and built cool inventions.  When Mr Starksaid he was going to bed, we said we would go soon, by 3am I was barely awake when I joyfully shouted, "I've got it!", unknown to me I had just woken Shuri up.

"Got what" she mumbelled trying to process my commotion.

I reminded her of my sensory overload episodes and how I had been working on some tech for them.  once I made her an iced coffee she finally bothered to review myplans and added some extra details and features.

Being the excited and bouncy teenagers we are, we climbed the short staircase and ran in to Mr Starks bedroom.

Tony POV

I felt a slight weight on my bed.  I opened my eyes wide to see a face gleaming at me inly being highlighted by the moon.

I screamed.

"So Mr Stark we had th- I would appriciate it if you could sot screaming for three seconds- so we had this idea" Peter began.

"Allright this better be good.  Wait who is we?" I questioned annoyed he had woken me up at god-knows-o'clock

"Hey."  Shuri's face was direcly beside mine.

"Wow there's two of you" I mumbled slightly shocked but most of all out of disbelief.

They dragged me to their 'lair' as they call it and explained the whole idea to me.  I can't lie it was really impressive, an assorment of tech to help with Pete's sensory overloads as well as a new set of arrows for Clint and some fancy ninja star tech for Nat.

The kids made some prototypes for me to improve and ended upgoing to sleep at 5 and waking up at 8.  

Peter POV

When I woke up, I remembered that he had organised to go bowling and rollerskating with Ned and MJ today.  I was really nervous, flashing lights, loud music, unfamiliar smells.  I just had to put that at the back of my mind today. 

Me - Hey guys R we still on for bowling and rolling 2day?

Sass Queen - Sure

Nedlesourus - Sure I got back 1 hour ago so I'm all good for 11.

Me - BTW  is it cool if I bring a friend with.

Sass Queen - I take it U liked ur suprise?

Me - U knew?!?

Nedlesourus - Course we did > _<

After texting the group, I ran into the kitchen to eat some cocopops, Shuri was sitting there when I ran in.  I had already told her about Ned and MJ so when I told her about our little trip out, she was extatic.

We arrived at Ned's at 11, Shuri was so exited, Ned opened his door and MJ and he came out with a small bag, like the rest of us and we all got in his mum's little car, where she joined us so she could drive us ther.  MJ and Shuri got on like a house on fire, which I was relieved about.  Ned sat in the front with his mom whilst the remaing three of us squished together in the back.

As we arrived to the bowling alley, to my relief it was not too buisy.  We had a fun time teaching Shuri how to play and suprisingly she came joint second with me 7 points off MJ who won.  Poor Ned came last.
