"I feel like death." I groan, falling back onto the couch in Owen and Charlie's apartment. I've been spending a lot of time there, just because my apartment makes me feel lonely. We've just finished day two of band camp and my gawd, it's way more intense than i ever anticipated. Madi never mentioned just quite how intense it was.
"I know we all feel like shit but we should do something tonight!" Owen said, coming out of the bathroom after finishing his shower. I roll my eyes and shove my face into a pillow, "please, O,
I just wanna nap that's all i need" i complain, kicking my legs. Charlie walks from the kitchen over to the living room, handing us each a glass of water, which we all inhale in a good twenty seconds.
"A fifteen minute nap. Then, we should go exploring! Is it true you've never been to Vancouver??" Owen asked, causing Charlie to look at me, his jaw dropping. "I never said that!! I've been, I've just never done any of the touristy stuff."
"Then that's what we're doing."
"I hate you."

———

After my well deserved nap, I decided it would be best to get ready because the boys are extremely impatient. I walk out of the bathroom to see Owen and Charlie yelling "Getcha head in the game" from high school musical. When Troy's slower part comes on, Charlie twirls Owen around and slow dances with him. I'd say my loud snort caused my presence to be known and almost made Charlie drop Owen.
"Jesus, woman!" Charlie shouts, helping Owen adjust his footing.
"Don't call me woman!" I yell, impersonating Dionne from Clueless. The boys giggle and I roll my eyes, sitting on a chair to tie up my laces. "So, where are we going??"
"We're going on a fun explory adventure!!" Charlie smiles, doing jazz hands as he says so.
"Yes, but where does that weirdness take place??"
"Oh come onnn, Iz, be spontaneous!! You don't have to be so boring." He mutters, making my head snap up.
"Mr Gillespie, did you just call me boring??" I ask, my mouth making the shape of an 'o.'
"Maybeee.... OWEN!!! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE IN JAIL FOR BYSTANDING IN MY MURDER YOU BETTER GET HERE NOW!!!"
"Meh," Owen replies, making me throw my head back in a cackle. Charlie raises his eyebrows at me before I start chasing him around the room,
pillow in hand. He was tossing things on the floor behind me to try and make me fall, but being a dancer, I easily avoided it. But Charlie on the other hand, being a dumbass, tripped over a shoe he earlier threw at me. I waste no time in starting to hit him with the pillow.
"Woah there, what did i just walk in on??" Owen asked as he put his stuff in my bag.
"Charlie called me boring, Owen!!" I pout, running over to him and playing the innocent little sister card i learned to perfect many years ago. Owen wrapped his arm around my shoulder before turning to Charlie, "my Bee is anything but boring, butthead Charlie." I immediately clasp my hand over my mouth, giggling at the new nickname Owen has given me.
"Oh come on, Owen, I'm never gonna live that down now." He frowns, gesturing to me. "Also, Bee??"
"Yeah!! It's my cute little nickname for my cute little sister" Owen laughed, ruffling my hair. I swat his hand away before dramatically grabbing my bag and walking to the door. As i'm halfway out the door, i turn around and blow the two boys a raspberry, slamming the door behind me immediately after. When a minute passes and the door doesn't open, I decide to yell, "are you coming?!?"
"Yeah!! One sec!!" Charlie yells, grabbing his camera as Owen opens the door. I link one arm with each of my boys and we start our spontaneous, explory adventure around Vancouver.

———

"If I knew that going on an adventure with Charlie meant a hike, I would've never suggested this," Owen muttered, falling further behind me and Charlie. I was struggling, but this hill was steep as hell and Owen had intense dance rehearsals today. I reach out my hand for him to grab and he pulls himself up, the two of us catching up to Charlie. He notices that we're holding hands and he pouts, "Hey no fair, I wanna hold hands with you, Iz." He holds out his hand. But instead of just holding my hand normally, he intertwines our fingers and rubs his thumb over the back of my hand. Now's not the time, but 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋!!!!!!!! We continued the hike up the hill until we reached the most beautiful looking restaurant. We got a table right next to a window with a dazzling view and ordered ourselves some food. After small talking for about half an hour, Owen speaks up- "Please tell me there's a ski lift or something, if i have to walk another step on this hill i'll jump off of it." He says, making me choke on my drink.
"Woah there buddy, no ones jumping off of any mountains tonight. Maybe next time." Charlie laughs from across the table. He has been playing footsy with me under the table for the whole night. Again, 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋!!!!!!!!! Once our food came, we dug in and planned the rest of our night- which was a parent trap movie night with my famous cookies and shittons of popcorn.
