The neo world program

Shuichi's POV

It's been three days since Korekiyo execution and Monokuma is now going to announce the forth motive. We're in a large room we're the floor is made out of cold metal and and the walls is covered in fluorescent lamps. It feels like something you'd find in a science fiction movie. The atmosphere is very alike that of Keboo's lab. Though the room is nearly empty except for a couple of chairs and a large mysterious box. The box was double my own height and looked like it could fit all of us inside it. On the front was a big cross probably only for decoration and a red lamp in the middle. I was just gonna ask Monokuma about it but Mui got first.

"O look at that!!", she yelped and ran towards the box.

"Mui, be careful you can get hurt! This has probably something with the new motive!", Keboo said.

"Puhuhuhuhu, correct robot boy!", Monokuma announced. Everyone turned to the black and white bear that held out his paws triumphantly. "This machine controls the neo program! And yes this is indeed the new motive we've all been waiting for! It can send your mind into a virtual world where you can have lots of fun."

"Gonta not understand. What is a neon program?"

"What a pain.", Himiko sighed.

"Good try Monokuma but we won't fall into your trap!", Kaito said.

"Yeah, what makes you think we'll ever agree to use your motive." I walk forward and stop in front of our principal and look down at him.

"You don't trust me? Aw that makes me sad. Puhuhu but what if I told you there's a price?"

"A price?"

"Yes! Somewhere in the virtual world I've hidden the secret of the outside world! Existing right??", Monokuma giggled.

"No way, it's to risky. Don't forget it's one of his motives." Maki pointed one of her knifes at the bear.

"I will never listen to that teddy bear ever again!", the magician said sadly.

Kokichi who had up until now been quiet took a step forward and glared at Maki. "I don't know I think it sound kind of fun."

"No one asked you brat!"

"Kokichi, just please stay out of this! You'll only make things worse.", I said.

"Aw Shuichi, that makes me so sad. In this situation I at least thought my dear mr detective would be true to me." Kokichi made an upset face. I sighed. "Well since you've all been so mean to me I'm going to use this motive to kill u all! Nah that was just I lie- I would never..."

"Kokichi stop it you're scaring us!", Tsumugi said sounding really concerned.

"Can you ever take anything seriously?" Maki was now pointing her knife at the purple haired boy instead.

"I'm just saying that that price could be really useful. Plus it definitely wouldn't be boring."

"I hate to say this but maybe Kokichi's right.", I say. "We need that information if we're ever going to escape."

"Shuichi, what are you saying?!"

"I-I want to go into that machine too." Himiko suddenly spoke up. "If that price can help us escape I'll do anything to get it! That's what Tenko and Angie would have wanted right?"

"Himiko, your actually gonna take his (kokichi's) side?", Maki said.

"Gonta don't want anyone to be hurt anymore. Gonta protect everyone."

"I will help you Gonta! No one shall be hurt anymore!", Keboo said.

"What's talking so long?! I need help to ready the neo world program or whatever. You should be honored to be working with such a fabulous girl like myself!"

Everyone started taking sides. I didn't know what was right anymore. My thought ran around in my mind like cars on a car track. We need that information and that quickly before anymore murders occurs. That's what Kaede would have wanted me to do. But he didn't want to set any of his friends in danger.

Suddenly the monitor turned on and we all returned to our dorms. I didn't come to Maki's and Kaito's training that night.
