Ok so I took some time away from Wattpad and I completely forgot about this story. I thought no one would care but what. Bro I didn't even update and it went from like 20 to 500 views. I mean thank u but I don't think I deserve it. Here's another chapter for you and if you want me to I'll continue the story.

Shuichi's POV

It didn't take long for everyone to finish and soon we all stood outside our rooms looking at Kokichi. All the others looked confused or angry, except for Himiko who seemed genuinely happy. I guess they all won. It's not that hard to imagine that Kokichi could change the outcome of the game that easily. This world was supposed to be Kokichi's own mind, changing the picture on a card should be child's play.

Honestly I don't really know exactly what made Kokichi change his mind, but I'm happy he did. Even though he's more trouble than help I don't want him to die.

"What is this, Kokichi?!", Maki said. She reached back for her knife but it had apparently been removed. Instead she gripped air. If Maki could be flustered she was it now. "What are you planning?", she hissed.

"We'll, nothing really.", the purple haired boy answered. "Or maybe something, but I'm not telling you, nishi~ Anyways... congratulations you won the game! You may now continue!"

"Why are you doing this? I mean you could just let us loose right?" Tsumugi put a finger to her cheek and furrowed her brow.

"Wait so I didn't really win?", Himiko said, her smile fading.

Kokichi put on one of his wides smiles. "If you really want to know... I guess I don't want to die either. Is that so hard to believe. Besides it has been fun but I don't want you snooping around in my castle. Who knows what you can would find, nishishi... And no offense, Saihara-chan." He moved his gaze to me. "Your blabbering was getting kind of boring."

Before I can say anything he continues. "Now to your prize."

With a snap of his fingers a checkered door appears in the far end of the corridor. It is tall with a white frame and a golden doorknob. On the top is the word "Welcome" written with italicized letters.

"Is this some kind of trick?", Kaito said suspiciously. Kokichi just smiled and started walking in the other direction.

"Good luck!" , was the last thing the supreme leader said before turning the corner. I looked after him as he went.

"Brat.", muttered Miu under her breath.

"Well what do we do now?"

"Gonta think Gonta should go though that door."

"Nya, I don't trust him one bit."

"It's not like we have a choice do we.", Keebo said. "And also Kokichi said that he wanted to get out of this world too."

"That was just lie to throw us of."

"No Keebo is right. We don't have another choice but to trust Kokichi.", I said.

"So we just go in then" Kaito walked up to the door and opened it. "After you sidekick!" Instead of protesting like I wanted to I just did as he said, and the others followed.

The space behind the checkered door was pitch black. Not really like darkness and I got a feeling that flashlights would help to light the it up. Instead it felt more solid which was strange since it clearly contained regular air. It was like my touch and sight were in a disagreement. I carefully put my foot down and felt solid ground even though I could see anything. I stepped out and started walking. It's risky I know the ground might just crumble underneath me. But I didn't think it would.

I looked back in the direction I'd come from. Gonta stood nervously in the doorway. "It's ok!" I tried to sound reassuring. He looked up at me and and back down. The large boy took a few careful steps before running up to me.

"Gonta be careful!" Tsumugi also stepped out. She looked surprised and stumbled a little bit forward. She regained her balance, smiled and started jogging towards us.

The rest then walked out too.
