Yoshino believe that no one has any hearts, humans, are all heartless. Those thumping flesh inside their body are simply what keeps them alive and breathing. It can never feel anything other than that.

It was foolish.

But at the same time, it's what makes him go on forward without anything to find his guilt with. It's just, what keeps him going.

Although, he is rather indifferent. Yoshino wouldn't dare kill anyone whom he hate, not a chance. Being rejected in all his life, he always see the evil within the hearts of everyone around him. Closing his heart with a wall of iron around it, preventing anyone from coming through it.

And then there is |y.n|.

All her life, everyone around her sugarcoats their every word, as if afraid to offend her or something else, whatever the reason is, that caused them to act as such around her.

"Oh no, don't worry dear, you're very pretty."

Oh yes, dear, glad you noticed how much of an eye sore you are.

"Aww, you need not to change |l.n| you're already perfect the way you are!"

Stay like that so that I can shine.

Words, sugar-coated, are dangerous. People loves to tell lies, it became a daily occurence to everyone, isn't that right? One can never tell what's better, which one is more preferred.

Sugar-coated lies.

Or the horrible truth.

They pick the former, because they believe that atleast they made an effort to cheer you up, even if most of them aren't honest. Then the others, choose the latter, where all things are of sincerity, even if it hurts.

First year in Satozakura High school, currently, walking with your books in your hands while hanging your head low with your friend in front of you.

"Come on |l.n|, don't lag too much." She called over her shoulder as the others whom are near you giggle at the scene as if it is a comedic play. Your eyes widen before you catch up, right behind her.

If boys bullying is of physical, which is very easy to take, then girls deal with emotional. They break your heart with each drop of words comes from their mouth. But both bullying, can affect the mental health of a person..

Like they say, Words are more dangerous.

"Ehh, look at her."

"Look at her."

"Look at her."

"Look at her."

They sneered, face contorting into an awful expression as they all watch you pass by, even dare to compliment whose in front of you. Some people thinks, 'if I'm friend with someone of whose level aren't near me, people will notice me!'

Status. Status. Status.

How utterly ridiculous.

Fame. Fame. Fame

That's so lame.

"Hiyori is so nice, being friends with someone of her likes." One dares to whisper to the other whom only couldn't help but agree.

What is even beauty?

Why is there a standard?

Can't we be beautiful in our own way? Every soul is dancing as such of a swan, gracefully, why are such things matter? This is all just a sick little game society pressed play.

You sighed through your nose, touching Hiyori who hummed in question, asking what you need. "I need to powder my nose, please head to class before me Hiyori." You gave a smile.

"Ew, she dares to tell Hiyori what to do."

"Oh! That's fine |l.n|, I'll just wait for you!" She chirped, clapping her hands lightly as her bracelets let out a soft clinging at her movements. You shook your head, disagreeing with her, "no please, I'll take a while."

"Hiyori even told her that she'll wait. She's really ungrateful."

Hiyori pout, "is it because you don't like me anymore?" Her soft plump pink lips thrust in manner where one would find cute, you broke out into a sweat, hands defensively moving in front of you.

"That's not it! Of course I like you, you're my friend!" You forced out a smile at the assumed thoughts of hers, "I just don't want you to wait for me, that's just wasting your time."

Hiyori retreated, huffing as she nodded, "then, can you please buy me some orange juice on your way back?" She asked, her face painted with a grin while looking at you. You reluctantly nodded. It's the only thing that you can do for her.

"Of course."

"Aww! You're the best |l.n|! Then, I'll be heading first!" She waved to you, walking her way to class while saying hello to the other students she passes by causing them to either blush or greet back.

Hiyori Kimiko, one of the school's muse. Often called "angel" due to her kindness to others.

You watch her get smaller from your sight before walking to the washroom, clutching your books by your chest.

Humans are pathetic creatures.
