You didn't know how it came this way, all you've remember is that the two of you skipped school, completely ignoring everything but each other. The two of you found peace in each other's arms, like before.
But thinking about it now can make you flustered so the both of you settle down with just being near each other like before by the river banks.
You wore a beige shorts with baggy white shirt tucked in and some sandals to match. With your |h.l| |h.c| shaded hair tucked with some pins to the side so that your hair wouldn't bother you considering the windy weather it has with December slowly approaching.
"Uhmm.." You tried to start a conversation, Yoshino shifted from his seat and look at you with a slightly tilted head, his complexion and the view you had of him made you blush at how good looking he is. As one say, Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
You exhale, internally telling yourself to calm down, taking up the courage to talk to your dearest friend. "Thank you.."
"Huh?"
You faked a cough, making eye to eye contact with the male who is healing your broken heart. "Thank you, for being there for me, even during the tough times. I..." You paused, biting your cheek before leaning towards him, reaching out to his cheek.
"You didn't abandoned me." You pulled away, sighing before leaning back.
The gentle and calm whispers of the wind made your and his hair flow along the air. "Yoshino.. I-"
Your sentence was cut short at the middle when you heard a woman shout and begged for her dog to stop running, the both of you faced where the yelling can be heard and found the dog coming to your way.
Without any warning, it crashes with your body and made Yoshino half panic for your well being which you just gave a thumbs up as the dog began to lick you by the cheek.
"Hey! Hey! Calm down boy!" You giggle, feeling his tongue ticklish to your skin.
At the back of your mind, you tell yourself that this isn't the right time. With half of your mind calming your palpitating heart down and claiming how the dog's fortunately cut you off from forming your sentence complete.
"Ah! Snow! Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry!" The woman gasp and pull her dog away from you, apologizing before going on her way, leaving you alone with Yoshino once again.
"What were you planning to tell me earlier?" You brighten, faking a cough and taking a deep breath, composing yourself. "No, nothing." You waved a hand, trying to dismiss the topic.
Silence follows.
That was until, "oh uh, Yoshino."
"Yeah?"
"Have you watched the sci-fi worm humans?"
"Oh!" He lit up like a child receiving a Christmas present, if there is anything that he love, it would be movies.
"I did, the second has just been released just last year and I heard that the theater would be showing the third part of the movie!" He elicit a smile, one that your brain had completely snapped of.
"Mhmm!" You nod, chatting along with the male.
"We can watch the movie if it shows!" Yoshino blurted out, the two of you meeting eye to eye before he puff pink, "I mean.. if you want to, then we can."
You giggle, clasping his hands together with your own. "I would love to!" Even with your cool actions, you could feel the butterflies fluttering around your stomach.
For some reason, you find his presence calming, and with him, you can forget everything.
All the worries you and makes you feel down, it's all gone when he's with you. Shifting your position so that your leaning on one thigh and arm. Your other arm stretching towards Yoshino.
Lightly brushing his fringe that covers his right side, normally, he would've pushed the person who invaded his privacy, but he couldn't towards you. Was it because, you've already seen him? Or is it something else.
"As I've thought," the wind blew the grass around you snd the leaves dance with it too, his pupils widen at the words that left your mouth.
"You're really handsome. I like you for who you are."
