You walk in with mid length skirt and an oversized sweater with a white button up shirt underneath, you put on some clips on your head to push the baby hairs on your head to the side before putting on some sneakers.

You grabbed a tote bag and head out, bidding your mom farewell for a small trip outside for buying some groceries and also to enjoy yourself. "Come back safe!" You heard your mom called out from the living room, smiling to yourself and closed the door.

The afternoon breeze kissing your bare skin as you breathe, feeling the gentle flow of the wind.

By the distance, Yoshino saw you exit from your house after he walked around the corner, his eyes bored into your figure that's walking to the direction he intends to walk to get to the riverbank of the city.

You hum along the way as he trail behind you, concluding that he seems like a creep before sighing.

"|L.n|." You spin around, finding Yoshino behind you as your face graced with a smile. His right side hidden by his long hair just like always.

"Yoshino!"

Your face lit up at his presence that made his heart clench a little, Yoshino shrugged off the feeling and walked beside you. "Where are you head off to?" Yoshino pretends to think for s moment, glancing at you on the corner of his eye as the two of you walk together side by side.

Together.

A small smile graced his lips at the thought, feeling his heart swell once again at it. How come that whenever he's with you, strange feelings kept on bothering him?

"Yoshino?"

"Ah sorry.. I'm just going to the riverbank to hang out." He answered, snapping out of his little bubble when he heard your voice. "What about you?"

The two of you stopped at the cross section of the city, waiting for the lights to turn green and for the cars to stop. You showed him your (color) tote bag, "shopping!" The light turn green.

The boy hummed in response at it, "do you want to come with me, Yoshino? We can stop by the riverbank later." You offered, finally crossing the street while looking around, still side by side with the ravenette.

"Ah.. sure."

You let out a hihi laugh, feeling accomplished for inviting him, excited at the thought of hanging out with him. Grabbing a hold of his sleeves before showing him a toothy grin, "then, lend me your time today!"

Tugging the ravenette boy forward, "come on!"

He let out a sigh through his nose, following you all the while your hand is on his sleeve. Yoshino, now felt the butterfly in his stomach fluttering around. His ears tinted red while his eyes at the back of your head, going to your hand that grips his shirt.

The increase of people made you slow down, body bumping with one person to the other, eventually, you were pulled to someone's body.

You lift your head up after you let out an oof sound, only to find out that it was Yoshino who did so. It was just out of instinct, he guess. Never had he reacted as such towards someone like this before. "Grab on me." He calls to you, walking forward.

He acted like a shield for you making you grateful at his actions, your hand found it's way at the back of his shirt, gripping it to not lose him in the mass of people walking around the two of you. Constant bumps here and there.

You yelp when you felt yourself being push back by a rather tall man.

The slow motion fall making you close your eyes, expecting to feel even the tiniest pain. Wrist tugged upwards causing you to be pull forward, trying your best to steady yourself.

"Be careful."

It led to him holding your hand, feeling heat rushing through your whole body at the skin to skin contact. The feeling was as such the first time seeing something extraordinary, just like living in a city and seeing fireflies flew around the neighborhood. That type of happiness swelling inside your beating flesh.

A whisper left unheard, "thank you, Junpei."
