I was woken up by Lilah throwing a pillow at me. Thanks.

"C'mon, we need to get up. It's our first day." She said as she yanked her pillow off my bed.

"Ok,ok." I pulled the quilt over my head.

"Get up. I can't wait forever." She shouted at me as she pulled the quilt off me completely so it was now on the floor.

"Ok, fine." I didn't want to get up yet. Normally I sleep in. But it's gonna be different now.

I hopped out of bed and walked towards my chest of draws, rubbing the sleep away from my eyes.

I picked out my plain black robe, a black skirt, some underwear, and a white shirt. I still haven't got my slytherin robe or tie yet, so I guess this will have to do.

I went into the bathroom to change, as I wasn't fully comfortable around Delilah yet. While I was in there, I washed my face and brushed my teeth. Now my breath smelled of fresh mint. That was one of my favourite smells.

When I walked out the bathroom, my bed was neatly made and Lilah was waiting by the door. I quickly put my pyjamas on my bed and grabbed my things.

When we got to the common room, everyone was waiting for us. It felt nice to have some friends.

"Ready for your first day?" Draco said as he looked at me walking down the stairs.

"Yup, kinda scared though." I walked off the last step and headed towards the others.

"You'll be fine y/n." Blaise reassured me.

I smiled at him and we left the slytherin common room.

~

We were sat in the hall, being handed our time-tables, and I, got my slytherin robe and tie.

"Thank you sir." I said, as I started taking off my old, black robe.

"No worries, and call me Snape." He said back, with a thin smile on his lips.

"Will do." I smiled back.

I finished putting on my robe and started putting my green tie on.

I was struggling and Blaise noticed.

"Here, let me help you." He leaned in closer to me, over the table as he was sat opposite me, and started doing my tie for me.

When Draco saw, he didn't look too happy. I don't know why though? It's just a friend helping another.

Draco's POV:
It enraged me that Blaise got to do her tie, although I tried not to show it.

I kept my face as emotionless as possible, though I think I failed as y/n looked at me with a confused look on her face.

"Are you ok, Malfoy?" Her delicate voice said.

No, I can't think that.

Her... girly voice said.

What?

I'm stupid. Draco your so stupid.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said quietly.

"Promise me?" She said.

I was fine.

Except I wasn't.

I was one minute ago.

But not now.

Blaise is a player and doesn't deserve y/n to be so nice to him.
