It was finally Christmas.

The air was chilly but the view outside was beautiful. I missed the snow. It was calm and always put a smile on my face.

I'm on the train, heading back home for Christmas break, looking out the frosted window at the view.

A layer of paper-white snow covered the ground, while more was falling.

"So, who's gonna write to me then?" Draco asked. I raised my hand not taking my eyes off the scenery.

"I will!" Pansy pug-face said. Ugh, i hate her guts.

"I will if i have time, but i'm sure i have better things to do than to write to a Malfoy." Lilah smiled.

Draco scoffed at her comment, then a small laugh came out of my chapped lips from the weather. Oops

"What are you laughing at?" Draco said. Nudging me in the arm, as i just lowered it.

"Nothing." I tiredly sighed.

"Are you ok y/n" Lilah asked me. I love Lilah. She can always tell when im not in the best mood, and can always find a way to cheer me up.

"I guess." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Draco, move." Lilah order him, as he was sat next to me.

Lilah was opposite me next to the window, with Harper to her left. Bruxo was the other side of Harper, with Blaise and Pansy opposite. Draco was in between me and Blaise.

"Why?"

"Just do it Malfoy!" She scoffed.

That made me laugh a little and a slight smile rose to my cheeks.

"See, she's fine, she's laughing." Draco gestured at me.

"I guess I'm ok, just a little stressed that's all." I said, as Draco wouldn't move seats.

"Want to talk about it?" Draco asked. He always listens to my problems, most of the time its about school work. But this time it was different.

I looked up to see Harper and Bruxo asleep with their heads on each other. It was cute.

"I guess I'm just scared to see my family. Like I'm excited and everything, but I don't know what I'm going to say."

Draco looked at me sympathetically.

"I'm sure it will be fine y/n." Lilah reassured me.

That didn't really help as my stomach was still turning at the though of seeing them again.

I should be happy, but something didn't feel right. They had lied to me my whole life.

Draco put an arm around my shoulder and hugged me, which made my heartbeat slow down a bit.

Lilah looked at me and smiled. I'm sure i saw a slight wink as well, which made me laugh, startling Draco.

"What?!"

Mine and my best friends faces dropped.

"Nothing!" Me and Lilah said at the same time, which made us laugh again.

It wasn't as bad as I thought. When I got off the train, my mum and dad ran up to me and gave me a big hug.

This made me realise how much I missed them as I didn't get to say goodbye.

Their hugs were comforting and made me feel at home again.

When I pulled away, to my surprise, I had a tear rolling down my cheek.

"I-I'm sorry." I laughed trying to lighten the mood while wiping my tear away.
