It was the beginning of a new year at Hogwarts and Draco wasn't all too thrilled at having to go back knowing he would have to see Potter and his annoying friends, not only that he would have to deal with Pansy Parkinson again. At first, her company was bearable and he had liked her but eventually she became rather annoying, calling him pet names, following him around and acting like they were dating. They had finally arrived at school after a long 9 hours and Draco was at least looking forward to a bit of food before sleep. He went straight to his usual spot. Crabbe, Goyle, Knott and Blaise soon joined him, uttering a greeting and also looking rather tired themselves. Their quiet spot was disrupted when they heard stomping footsteps and someone heavily sitting down beside Goyle and they huffed before folding their arms.

"Hello, to you too Pansy," Blaise sighed, when he saw who it was who had planted themselves opposite him and Draco. Draco sighed internally, school has literally only just started and she was already in a mood.

"I actually can't believe it?!"

"What can't you believe?"

"My sister's transferring here,"

"And why is that bad?" Draco asked, rolling his eyes, pretending to actually care. What was so bad about having a sibling? Deep down, he wished he had a sibling, someone he could talk to about his father.

"She's so annoying... I know Mum and Dad favour her more than me and now they've decided to transfer her here because she asked,"

"When will this 'annoying' sister of yours get here?"

"In a few days with the other Beauxbaton girls,"

"Wait, the Bauxbatons girls are coming here?"

"Apparently," Pansy sighed as they listened to Dumbledore's speech. The old wizard mentioned something about a Triwizard tournament but he would elaborate another time. Either Draco wasn't in the mood, only wanting his bed and a good night's rest.

It was the next day when they arrived, the Hogwarts students gathered in the Clocktowers Courtyard to watch the Beauxbaton girls and the Durmstrang boys arrive. Draco too would've liked to enjoy seeing their visitors however Pansy was yet again yapping non stop about her sister and his mood dampened, deciding he no longer cared about the visitors, especially if the annoying girl couldn't stop talking about one of them in particular.

Later that night, Dumbledore called for an assembly and began explaining about the Triwizard Tournament although one Slytherin boy wasn't paying much attention, too busy wondering when this pointless assembly was going to end. He didn't fail to notice though, the Sorting Hat on the stool, he himself had once sat on 3 years ago and it was only when the sound of doors slamming open was when he finally became aware of what was going on. He watched as a group of rather beautiful young women came through the doorway, dressed in light blue silk uniforms. It was obvious they were catching a lot of male attention and possibly female too but Draco's eyes were too busy gawking at the extremely tall woman who somehow walked very gracefully despite her height. Dumbledore walked with her on her right side, welcoming her as a good headmaster should.

Draco's eyes then cast down to the black haired young girl who was walking on the left side of her former headmistress. She was dressed in the same robes as he was when he first came to the school. This must be Parkinson's little sister and based off of the scowl that Pansy was sending her, Draco was right. Her sister saw her though and despite the nasty look she got, she still smiled at her older sister and gave a little wave seemingly a lot happier to see her. Pansy only rolled her eyes and turned away. Draco couldn't help but notice the girl's smile falter after her sister's actions but as quickly as it was gone it reappeared as she greeted those close to her. He noticed she sent off a few butterflies herself, joining in a part of her, soon to be former school's display. One in particular gracefully flew it's way in their direction and flew above their heads and he couldn't help but smile at its beauty before watching Dumbledore tell the girl to stand by his Owl Lectern.
