"You definitely like him," Hermione teased (Y/n) as they entered The Great Hall and headed to where Harry and Ron were sat. (Y/n) rolled her eyes and tutted in annoyance.

"Oh please, as if I'd like someone like him... he's an idiot. He has no manners and just because you know I have a thing for gingers doesn't mean I like every single one of them that happen to catch my eye... especially him.. why him specifically anyway?! It could be one of his brothers or his sister, might I add, that I like! They're all ginger! But for some reason you think it's... him... I mean look at how he eats.. you seriously think I find that attractive?!" The girl ranted but her only response was a smirk from her curly haired friend. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly at the response he/she got. (Y/n)'s (Y/e/c) eyes narrowed, irked by her friends smug look. "What?"

"You're blushing," Hermione giggled as her friend merely glared at her for her teasing.

"Shut up," the young girl hissed as they got to the table that their two friends sat at, who were munching away at their lunch. Harry greeted the two and then Ron who decided to speak with his mouth full.

"Hi, Hermione... hey (Y/n)," from Hermione, he received a pleasant but also somewhat disgusted smile and from (Y/n), another dirty, unamused look before she went to looking at what she could have for lunch. He always got that look from her and he never understood why. He understood that him speaking with his mouth full might be disgusting but why did she give him a look as if she loathed him? They were friends right so wouldn't she give him a similar look Hermione did if that were the case. The boy continued to watch the mysterious (Y/h/c) girl as she conversed with Harry, Hermione and other people at the Gryffindor table but not once did she look at him. She avoided his gaze completely. He's always noticed a strange behaviour change from her whenever only he was around. The thought of that made his heart sink, what had he done to upset her so much? He watched as his brothers came and sat nearby and how she greeted them with a kind smile. He must have definitely done something wrong to her and he wanted to know what it was...

After lunch they had Transfiguration with Slytherin. Before (Y/n) could sit down in her seat next to Seamus, Professor Mcgonogall  caught our attention.

"Listen up children, I'm going to be changing the seating plan today, some of you have gotten too comfy with your partners," the Scottish witch. (Y/n) didn't think much of it, to her being paired with certain people was unlikely but if she did, she wasn't sure how she would be able to cope at hiding her feelings... being that close to him. Her eyes flickered to the ginger who was stood with Dean who had originally been his seating partner.

One by one, Professor Mcgonagall paired them up with their new seat mate. However, (Y/n) couldn't help but start to get nervous, she noticed that her name and Ron's were still yet to be said... but there was still hope, there was Neville and Pansy left, hopefully she'd be with-

"Neville and Pansy, sit yourselves down here please," the (Y/h/c) haired girls heart skipped a beat and she froze slightly. She heard footsteps approach and she turned to see Ron, a smile on his face.

"I guess that means we're together," he said, somewhat sheepishly. He looked cute. (Y/n) quickly turned away from him to hide the blush that had formed on her cheeks, however at the same time giving him a blunt, 'oh joy,' before walking to their seats without him. He cane and sat down a few seconds after she did. He glanced at her every now and then as she took out the relevant books needed for the lesson. He took note of her emotionless face as she continued to not give him any attention.

"Quit staring at me," she whispered harshly, causing him to blush slightly from being caught, but then he became annoyed, he frowned at her, looking at her more directly this time.

"What's your problem?" He questioned, "you always treat me differently compared to everyone else. Have I done something to you?"

"Yes." The girl stated simply and continued to ignore him. The red head was taken aback slightly... so he had done something but what was it. He stared at the side of the girls face for a brief moment.

"Well are you gonna tell me what I've done?"

"No." Another blunt answer, the male sighed in slight frustration.

"(Y/n) please, I want to fix whatever it is so that we can be friends again," to that the girl whisked her head to him, a streak of annoyance flashed through her (Y/e/c) eyes.

"Well, I don't," she hissed, her angered look faltered slightly upon seeing Ron's shocked yet saddened face.

"Miss (Y/l/n), Mr Weasley, I would appreciate it if you didn't have your little lovers quarrel during my lesson, you do it again and you're getting a detention," for (Y/n) the only thing she seemed to hear was, 'little lovers quarrel,' why did she say that?! The girls face burned red as she covered it by keeping her head down on the desk. Calm down, calm down, calm down, the girl chanted in her head, she couldn't make it obvious she had gotten flustered by something. When she had calmed down she turned her head to the left keeping it rested on the desk. Another thing she couldn't get her mind off of was the reaction she got off of Ron. Was she being too harsh? Maybe she should try avoiding him at all costs now, she went too far, he'll never like her now... not that she expected him to like her with how she treats him, she was just scared of what would happen if she'd give in to her feelings and end up asking him that question she dreaded but it was more the answer she might receive, that she feared the most...

Emmm, Part 2? Reader's a simp for Ron....
Also, any anime fans? I watched the Promised Neverland on Thursday, like the whole season in one day and omg... I love it... I love them all and I balled my eyes out that night because it's so sad n stuff. Definitely looking forward to the next season
