"What the bloody hell is wrong with (Y/n)?" Ron questioned Hermione and Harry as he approached them at the dinner table they were sitting at. The (Y/h/c) haired girl was nowhere do be seen yet so he took the chance to question them.

"Huh? (Y/n)? What about her? She seems perfectly fine to me," Harry replied, a confused frown present on his features.

"Well of course everything seems fine with you Harry! It's like she hates me and only me in this school, she's friendly to everyone else but me!" Harry blinked and thought. Now that Ron mentioned it, (Y/n) would be quite cold towards him. The bespectacled boy, looked over to Hermione who had been quiet and noticed that she was smirking to herself.

"I think Hermione might have an idea of what's going on," Hermione's head shot up and saw Ron's expectant look.

"I'm not telling you anything, whatever it is, it has to come from her," Hermione said putting her hand up. The boy stood to his feet, hands still planted to the table.

"Bloody hell 'Mione, why's it all secrets?" He frowned, but before he could say anything else, they heard (Y/n)'s name being called. The Golden Trio looked to their left and Ron, his right to see Seamus, Neville and Dean looking toward the entrance of The Great Hall. They turned to look in that direction to see said girl looking as stiff as a rod, when she saw the three of them notice her. She looked terrified. She then took a breath before quickly making her way over to the next two tables down, feeling Ron's wide eyes on her the whole time she moved in front of him. "You see that... now she's completely avoiding me!" He hissed as he sat back down.

"How.. How can you tell? She was called over by Seamus," Hermione reasoned.

"You watch, she'll either not sit here anymore when I'm here and if I'm not she'll sit her but quickly excuse herself when she sees me coming,"

"I doubt it," Hermione scoffed rolling her eyes. I must agree with (Y/n) that he's an idiot but I didn't think he was this oblivious...

"She didn't give me an evil look this time... she avoided my gaze and she looked embarrassed,"

"Yeah but that might be because we all turned to look at her when Seamus called her, mate. It must've been weird for us to suddenly turn and look at her, not only that but very suspicious," Harry concluded, he was only met with an unamused look from Ron. The ginger huffed and turned to look at the girl who had her back to him. He's 100% sure she is avoiding him, but he'll have to wait and see before confronting her about it.

A few days had passed since their conversation at dinner and Ron could now confirm that (Y/n) was avoiding him. He found the change in behaviour off though, she had gone from nasty and cold hearted to shy and scared and if Ron was being deadly honest, he preferred it when she was being nasty and coldhearted because that meant he at least got to actually see her and be near her. It was strange, she never used to be that way, they were good friends up until she became coldhearted towards him at the end of Year 4. For no reason whatsoever too. As Ron continued to stare at the (Y/h/c) who was sat next to his sister tonight for dinner, he couldn't help but get lost in his thoughts.

When did she start avoiding me again? Oh yeah... it was after Transfiguration when Professor McGonogall told us off. She got all weird after that, she didn't pick her head up off that desk for the rest of the lesson and then went straight out after without a single glance or word... was it something McGonagall said... What did she say? I.. I would appreciate if you wouldn't... no, if you didn't argue? No, no... it was if  you didn't have your little lovers quarrel during my lesson... was it that? It couldn't have been right... did she not focus on the lesson because McGonogall called our argument a 'Lovers Quarrel'? Why would that get her so upset? Could she... maybe...
