A/n: this is my first time writing a trans one shot, so I apologise in advance if I get anything wrong and if I do, please teach me. It is not my intention to offend you if I get anything wrong. - H

<3rd POV>

6th year had finally come round for the twins and they were excited to get back because it meant they got to see (Y/n), who they hadn't seen all summer. They weren't sure for the reason but she told them that they wouldn't be seeing her until their next year at school together. They were on Platform 9 and 3/4, keeping their eyes peeled for their (Y/h/c) friend.

"Hey Fred, hey George," someone spoke from behind them. They turned to see... a boy?... who looked a lot like (Y/n). They looked at eachother in confusion as the boy looked at them sheepishly. He seemed very nervous.

"(Y/n)?" George asked, their friend looked terrified for a moment.

"Well um... yes sort of... I'm not (Y/n) anymore. My name is... (Y/m/n) a-and I'd prefer it if you used the pronouns him/he, please!" The twins stared at him, seemingly trying to wrap around the fact that their friends voice was much deeper now. The shorter boy gawked at the twins waiting for their reaction, (Y/m/n) could feel his heart pounding in his chest. He had waited all summer to tell the twins and explain why he had not been able to see them. He really hoped they'd still like him for who he was. Fred and George's face immediately softened upon seeing the stiff position, their friend stood in.

"It's great to see you again (Y/m/n)," George smiled, wrapping an arm around (Y/m/n)'s shoulder.

"Seems a lot has changed, why don't you tell us about it on the train," Fred smiled.

"You guys don't mind that I'm changing my gender?" (Y/m/n) stared at them, shocked.

"Not at all, as long as you keep the same personality and continue wanting to be our friend, it doesn't matter. We'd like you as either (Y/n) or (Y/m/n), nothing will change that," George said and Fred nodded in agreement, grins on their faces.

"Besides, you've got a nice voice when you're a guy," Fred winked, making (Y/m/n) smile before giving them a massive hug.

"We'll always love and care for you (Y/m/n), don't forget that," they said in unison.

"I love you guys too! Now, I have to find Ron, Harry, Hermione and Ginny and tell them! Do you think they'll except me too?" (Y/m/n) asked nervously.

"We're 100% sure they will," George spoke with a know it all kind of tone,

"But if they don't," Fred continued,

"Or Ron says something stupid,"

"Let us know and we'll sort them out, friends or not,"

"We'll be having words!" They spoke in unison, they looked to see a tearful (Y/m/n), smiling warmly at them.

"Thank you, I'll see you in a moment," the (Y/h/c) boy thanked them before quickly stepping into the train to find the Golden Trio and Ginny. The twins sighed, smiles on their faces.

"Hey George,"

"Hmm?"

"Do you still like him?"

"I do, do you?"

"You know what, I do too,"

"I guess that means we're gay now,"

"I'm totally cool with that, Georgie,"

"As am I, Freddie,"
