Felicia was on the bus on the journey back to Queens, and she had began to unwrap the bandage that was put around her head with a heavy sigh. "This stupid bandage is itching my head!" Felicia told MJ irritably as she placed the bandage on her lap, and MJ looked to her friend with a sigh. MJ and Liz had been at the hospital the most with Felicia. Felicia had gotten a concussion, and it had delayed their trip an extra three days.

"Oh, Felicia, you shouldn't have taken the bandage off." MJ told her. "You were supposed to keep it on."

"Well, it was itching me!" Felicia told the girl. "So, I took it off. It was horrible. But, could I borrow your jacket for the rest of the trip back?" She asked her friend as she looked at the windows with a wince. MJ handed her the jacket and watched as Felicia moved from her seat and lay down on the floor of the bus as she placed the jacket over her head to hide from the light.

"Oh, Felicia." Liz complained. "Are you sure the floor is the best place to be?"

"Yes!"

"But-"

"I'm fine, Liz." Felicia told the woman. "It's just the light is hurting my head, and is making me feel dizzy. Besides, I prefer it much better on the floor. It's cool and dry, and I like it." Liz looked down at the girl and sighed. They only had an hour left of sun, and two hours left of a journey. "Hey, could we take a stop? I really need a drink!" Mr Harrington went to discuss it with the driver, who agreed.

They were all aloud a ten minute stop, and Felicia went straight for the closest shop to get some food and a drink. She still had the jacket held over her head in order to protect herself  from the light of the sun. She ambled into the shop and made her way over to the chilled drinks section. She reached for two bottles of water. But because she held the jacket with one hand, and held the bottles with the other, a bottle fell from her hand.

Luckily, Peter swooped in and caught it for her, and joined her. " I'm sorry!" He told her.

"For what?" Felicia questioned as she gestured for him to put his head under the jacket, and he did so. "What are you sorry for?"

"Everything." He told her. "If I would've pulled you away from swimming, I wouldn't have gotten trapped and I wouldn't have missed the decathlon. And, Ned wouldn't have brought the bomb into the Washington Monument, and you wouldn't have gotten a concussion. I feel really guilty, and I'm so sorry." He told her.

"Oh, it's fine." Felicia told him as she grabbed the second water bottle from his hand. She began to walk along over to the food, and with her little finger, she grabbed a pack of sweets and began to walk over to the counter, and Peter caught up with her and joined her at the till.

"I've got it." Peter told her, as he went to pay for both his and her stuff.

"Peter, it's a concussion." Felicia told him in annoyance. "Not an amputated leg or something!"

"Still a concussion, Felicia!" Peter told her adamantly as Felicia slowly took the jacket off her head, and she winced at the light, but pulled her card out netherless, and moved Peter out the way. She tapped her card onto the card machine, and paid for it all. She grabbed her stuff, and he did the same before he followed after her.

"Peter, it's fine." She told him. "Stop staring at me."

"I can't help it, I feel guilty."

"It's not your fault, it's mine." Felicia told him. "I should've made a decision quicker." Felicia then headed for the toilets, and paused as she looked at him. "You going to follow me in there too?" She asked him with a pointed look, and he shook his head. "Just hold my stuff." Felicia gave him her food and drinks, as well as MJ's jacket and went into the toilets.

Felicia didn't need the toilet at all, she just wanted to look at her head since she hadn't seen it at all. Felicia made her way over to the mirror and inspected herself in it, and her brown hair was quite a mess. With her hands she began to try and smooth it down, before she leant closer and ran her finger over the stitched up gash that ran from the middle of her forehead, and down to her eye socket bone. Felicia also ran a finger along the gash on her temple.

The gash on her temple wasn't as bad as the one along her eyebrow, and it wasn't deep enough to need stitches - luckily. "Well, there goes my amazing Homecoming picture!" Felicia muttered to herself softly.

"You'll still look pretty, Felicia." Liz said as she left a toilet cubicle. "Besides, you got that after you helped half of the group out of the lift. Without you, many of them would've been in that lift as it fell. And besides, you were pretty scared of the situation we were in and still took charge. I saw nobody else do that. Spider-Man may have saved us, but you? You saved the rest of the group."

"If you say so." Felicia said softly.

"I do!" Liz told her. "I do say so!" Felicia smiled softly, before she left the toilets and grabbed her things off of Peter, and thanked him, before she headed back to the bus with him, and they both sat down in their respective seats and away from each other. Felicia opened her water and took a drink as she tiredly rubbed her head with a yawn.

However, as MJ got back on the bus, she began to bandage Felicia's head once more, who tried to push her away, but MJ simply continued to bandage her head as Felicia grumbled to herself bitterly.

---

They finally arrived and Liz shook Felicia awake, and Felicia awoke with a start, and fell down to the floor. Peter moved forwards and helped the girl up, as MJ got all her stuff in her arms. The two began to help her off of the bus. "You know, I don't need to be babied!" Felicia told them matter of factly. "I am perfectly capable."

"Yes, but we're still going to do so." MJ told her as they got off the bus.

Peter's aunt rushed over to him and went to hug him, but stopped upon seeing Felicia and MJ stood there. MJ saw her family calling her over, and MJ handed Felicia's things to Peter and left with a promise to call her, and left. "Hey, aunt May." Peter greeted his aunt. "This is my friend, Felicia Hardy."

Felicia held her hand out to the woman with a small smile. "It's nice to meet you, ma'am." Felicia nodded. The woman agreed with her and shook her hand.

"What happened to your head?" Peter's aunt asked.

"Oh, well, while trapped in the monument I was helping others out - but the lift fell and I fell back into the lift from the roof of the lift." Felicia explained to the woman. "But it's just fine, just a little concussion and a few gashes." However, just then three boys rushed over to the three of them, and they all barrelled into her.

"Oh, Licia!" Jared cried as he, Jamie and Benjamin held her tightly. "Are you hurt? Are you okay?" He asked. "Oh, Licia, please tell me you're okay!" He looked over to Peter. "Oh, hey, it's you!"

"Guys, I'm okay." Felicia told them. "It's just a concussion, I'm fine. Just a little tired." She frowned for a second. "Where's-"

"Their flights were delayed for a week." Jamie told her. "But we should hurry and get home, me and the boys will do everything we can for you - but we might need you to cook." Benjamin looked at the boy incredulous, along with Jared. "What? I can't cook, and neither can Jared! And I can't take much more of Benjamin, Michael or Aemon's cooking - it's atrocious."

"Oh, thank you." Benjamin said.

Peter looked between them all, and looked back to his aunt, who caught his gaze, and shook her head lightly. Peter gave her a pointed look, and she only shook her head once more. "It's fine." Felicia told her brothers. "Just...I'll order us some food." She looked to Peter. "Thank you, Peter. But I think my brothers and Benjamin can handle it for now. I'll see you soon, yeah?"

Peter nodded softly, and Benjamin then began to help her along as Jared took her things from him, and the four of them headed for the car together. Peter and May watched them all walk away and May faced Peter with a look. "So, is that the girl you like, Peter?" She questioned him.

Peter immediately went red. "What?" He asked. "No, of course not! I don't like her!" May only gave him a look, before she brought him into a hug, she was just glad that he was safe and not hurt.
