Arizona's POV

The next morning I woke up next to Amelia. We had slept in the same bed so that she didn't have to pull put anm extra mattress and put all the work into setting it up. It was 9 am and I was very well rested, even though we went to bed really late. I really enjoined the dinner lady night, it was so much fun. Her sister did talk a lot about theirselves bit that didn't keep Amelia and me from having a super fun night. Her mother, brother, Amelia herself and I did some karaoke and played some games. Her sisters weren't really I'm the mood to pparticipate they just watched us having the best time. Her brother Derek on the other hand is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is such a good brother to Amelia, always defending her and backing her up. Seeing them does make me miss my own brother, he would have loved Amelia and even her family he would've loved so much. I tried to get the thought of my brother out of my head because I wasn't in the mood to cry and wanted to have a fun day.

"Hi beautiful! Did I wake you?" I asked Amelia when she turned around and looked me directly into my eyes.

"No no, you didn't. Wht time is it?" She asked looking at me with her very sleepy eyes.

"It is 9am."

"9am? Ok that is early after the night we had yesterday." She said barely able to keep her eyes open.

"Last night was a tough but fun night. I really had fun Amelia." I looked into her sleepy eyes telling her this to reassure her that she had nothing to worry about. Last night was really fun.

"Well I guess at wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My sisters weren't the best company but my mother and brother seem to really like you a lot." She said sitting up straighter to be at the same height as me.

We talked more about last night and the things we did remember very well. We both had some vague memory of doing this game and taking shots when you did something but we didn't remember the details. We did remember very well the duet we sang and how we all danced together.

After about an hour we went downstairs to get some breakfast. Fortunately her siblings all slept at their own houses so it was just Amelia, her mom and me. It was very calm in the house now that it was just the 3 of us. Her mother had gone to the bakery and brought back some croissants and sandwiches for us to eat. We set the table for Amelia and me, her mom ate already and left us alone. We put everything we needed down and sat on opposite sides of the table, looking at each other. We ate our breakfast in a comfortable silence. After breakfast we went back to Amelia's room and got ready for the day.

Today we decided to go explore the city and do some shopping. I was barely ever in New York so she would show me around a little while doing some shopping and getting snacks to eat. We got dressed, took some cute pictures and went back downstairs to grab our bags and call a cab neither one of us wanting to drive. The cab arrived 10 minutes later and brought us to the city. We stepped out of the car and went to this little donut shop down the street. We ordered our donuts and iced coffees and ate them outside at a little table.

After what felt like hours but was really just on hour of walking in and out of stores we went to go get some lunch. We were both eating a lot today but both didn't mind it. We went to get sushi bowls. This place she took me was a very big but beautiful old building.

"This was my dad's favorite place. We used to come here when I was little but I stopped coming when..." She stopped in the middle of her sentence. I knew that her that died when she was 5 but I never knew the story of how, all I know is that she still has a though time talking about it. I looked at her and took her hand to comfort her. She looked at me and a little smile appeared on her face.

"I love it here, it is very beautiful. I can see why he liked it so much." I told her. The waiter came and took our orders.

We waited 20 minutes for our food and after they brought it we ate in a very comfortable silence. I enjoyed being here with Amelia so much, she was my best friends but she makes me feel something I haven't felt before. Every time she smiles at me I feel so much better and so special, I am so blessed to have her in my life. We finished our lunch and went back to the very crowded streets. We went in and out all the stores for a couple more hours buying a lot of clothes and accessories. We bought an outfit for tonight, we were going out and needed a good party outfit. We went back to the house and put all our bags in her room. We did a photoshoot with our new clothes and had so much fun.

We went downstairs to eat our diner, her mother and brother joining us. We had a lovely diner. Her brother was so nice and really good company, withour the sisters it was so much calmer. I really like her family a lot. After diner we went back upstairs and put on our party outfits. We called a cab and left to go out.
