We got ready and I remembered something. "Hey, (y/n), how are your legs," I asked. "Shut up soul," she said as her face turned red and threw a pillow at me. I caught the pillow and said," I'm asking genuinely." "My legs are fine," she said. "Can you walk," I asked. She got up. "I guess so," she said shocked. "That's good," I said. I put on my shirt. "You ready to go," I asked. She nodded. Then she took a step and fell forward. I caught her. "You all right," I asked worriedly. "Yeah, but my legs suddenly went numb," she said. "Alright well get on my back," I said. "But I don't want to be on your back," she whined. "Then what are you going to do," I asked. "Carry me bridal style," she said. "Fine," I said. "Yay," she said happily. I picked her up and we went to school. When we got to class the whole gang was there. "Hi guys," we said. "(Y/n)," kid said. "Big bro," she said happily. "You can put me down now please," she said. "But your legs," I said. She gave me the 'dude' look. I sighed and put her down. Then she walked over to kid. "You said you couldn't walk," I said. "I lied," she said. "If you wanted me to carry you, you could've said so," I said. "I know but this was more fun," she said. Then she walked over to me and gave me a kiss on my cheek. "Thank you," she said. "You're welcome," I said. Then the bell rang. "Hey guys! Watch this," she said. She jumped on top of the desks and stopped when she got to our row and sat down. "Wow (y/n)! You jump really gracefully," Tsubaki said. "You sound like a real ninja," liz said. (Y/n) and patti did a ninja pose and we all laughed. I walked over to my seat and sat down. (Y/n) smiled and held my hand. Then she turned and waved to Simon. Simon smiled and waved back.
Simons POV

(Y/n) and I had known each other for a while. I came to have a crush on her but I found out that she was dating soul Evans. 'I wonder how I can tell her that she should dump soul and date me,' I thought. "(Y/n)! Please step outside," stein said. "But-," she tried to protest but stein have her a death glare. She sighed. Then she jumped off the desks and left the class. 'This is my chance,' I thought.

I stepped outside of class. "Stupid stein," I said with a sigh. I started jumping around and all of a sudden someone grabbed my hand and threw me against the wall. Then they grabbed my wrists roughly. "Hello (y/n)," Simon said. "Simon," I asked. "Yup. I came to tell you how I feel," he said. "Simon you're hurting me," I said on the brink of tears. "Well the sooner we get this over with the sooner I can let you go," he said. "Why are you doing this," I asked. "(Y/n) I really like you and I can't believe you like that soul evans," he said. "I'm sorry Simon I just don't like you like that," I said. "That's why this isn't fair," he said as laughed like a psychopath. He put his elbow on my ribcage and it hurt really bad. "Please Simon stop it," I said already crying. "Not until you choose me," he said. "I'm sorry but no," I said. "Then the pain won't stop," he said. "Please Simon please," I begged. "Beg more, I like it," he said. He started to suck on my neck and I started crying. Then he went to my chest. He ripped my shirt off and ripped off my undershirt. "Simon! Stop," I said. "No," he said. He started to kiss down to my chest. I kept begging him to stop. Then he started to go under my skirt. 'What an awesome day to wear a skirt,' I thought. Then he grabbed my neck and started choking me. "I wonder what you taste like," he said. Then the world turned dark slowly. All of a sudden I felt Simon let me go and I fell to the floor. I coughed and covered my chest with my arms. "Leave her alone," soul said. I opened my eyes and saw soul looking at Simon with hatred. Then he looked at me and ran to my side. "(Y/n) are you alright, did he do anything" he asked worriedly. "I-I'm alright," I said. "No you're not," he said. He lightly touched my ribs and I flinched. "Tell me the truth," he said gently. "It hurts, it really really hurts," I said while crying. He kissed my forehead. "It's ok, I'll make the pain go away," he said. The warm light covered my body and the pain faded. Then the light went away. "You okay now," he asked. "Yeah thanks," I said. He put his jacket over me, zipped it up and wiped my tears away. Then he looked at my neck. "Sorry but I can't make those go away," he said sadly. "Its ok," I said. He looked at me and touched my neck. "Damn I'm so sorry (y/n)," he said. I hugged him tightly. "All that matters is that you came before he could do anything else," I said. He hugged me back gently. "I'm sorry, I should've been here," he said. "It's ok I'm alright thanks to you," I said. "True but that still doesn't make up for it," he said. "In my eyes it does," I said. "Get away from her," Simon said. Soul stood up and hid me behind him. "(Y/n) go inside the class," soul said. "But-," "go!" I didn't want to but I had to go get help. I ran inside the classroom and told stein about what's going on. He went outside and so did I. "Simon stop this," stein said. "Not until he's dead," Simon said. "Stop it Simon," I said. Soul was on the ground and Simon was trying to hit him. Then Simon smirked and his arm turned into a weapon and aimed at me. The world went in slow motion and my right side began to hurt. I put my hand and saw blood. "(Y/n)," soul yelled as I fell to the floor. Stein got Simon and took matters into his own hands. Soul ran over to me. "(Y/n)! Stay awake," soul said panicky. I kept my eyes open but I was getting sleepy. "Soul! You need to heal her right now," stein said. He nodded and the warm light enveloped my body. "Hey, it hurts," I said. "I know but please bear with it," he said. I whimpered in pain. "I'm sorry," he said. After a moment the light went away. I felt like my body was going to hit the floor. Soul picked me up and said,"I told you to stay in the class." "I know but I was worried about you," I muttered. Then soul opened the classroom door. "I would've been ok," he said gently. Then he went over to kid. "Kid take care of her for a second. We have a problem outside," soul said. "What's going on," kid asked. "I'll explain later," soul said as he passed me to kid. "Soul please don't go," I said. He stopped walking. "I promise I'll be right back," he said. He gave me a kiss on my forehead and left. I tried to get out of kids grasp. "(Y/n) calm down," he said. "No! I have to go with him," I said. "You can't," he said. Then he put his hand on my forehead and the world went dark.
Kids POV

"I'm sorry (y/n)," I said. I laid her gently on the desk. We waited for soul and stein to come back. Then we heard something go against the wall. 'Damn soul! I hope you beat that guys ass,' I thought. Then the classroom door opened. "Liz, Patti, transform," I said. They transformed and I pointed them at the door. "Amazing as always kid," Simon said. "Simon? What're you doing out there," liz asked. "No way... You bastard," I yelled and started shooting. "You caught up quickly," he said. "Did you notice anything new about her," he asked. I glanced over to her and saw she wasn't wearing a shirt and she had bruises and hickeys on her neck. The rest of her looked fine but I think soul healed her. "You bastard," I said. "I didn't do anything wrong. I just marked what's mine," he said. "I would've done much more but the brat interrupted me... It's not nice to talk about the dead like that is it," he continued. "You killed soul," I asked shocked. He smiled. "Oh my god... (Y/n) is going to be devastated," patti said. "So is Ayame," Liz said. "Great now (y/n) is a widow," Liz said. I shot at Simon. He ran towards me and kicked me into a wall. Then he started walking to (y/n). "Liz, Patti, help her please," I crocked. Liz turned into her human form and patti stayed as a weapon. Then Simon sent them flying too. "(Y/n)... I Death The Kid allow you to wake up," I said. (Y/n)s eyes flew open and she jumped to the other side of the room. No emotion struck her face. She started attacking Simon. When Simon was on the floor I said," I the grim reaper give you back your thoughts, memories, and emotions." Her face changed and she backed away from Simon. Then Simon stood up. 'Damn! I lifted the spell too early,' I thought. "Let's finish our little moment, shall we," Simon said. He put her on the floor. "Let her go," I crocked. "Don't do this Simon," Liz said. "Piece of shit if you do anything I'll kill you," Patti said. "Simon! Please! Don't do this," (y/n) said while crying. No one else was in the class. He lifted her skirt. "Leave her alone," I yelled. Then he kissed her and she was struggling. He held her arms to the floor with force. None of us could move. Then there was a flash of light and when it passed. Simon was on the floor and stein put (y/n) next to me. "Where's soul," she asked me. I looked away from her. "No... Liz, Patti, where's soul," she asked. They looked away too. "No... He's... Gone," she asked. She started crying. "All of you need to get out of here," stein said. "Where would we go," kid asked. "To the death room," he said. We stood up to our best advantage. "Come on (y/n)," I said as I stretched her hand to me. "I can't... I can't get up... I don't want to get up... I can't believe any of this," she said. "Please, soul wouldn't want to see you like this," Patti said. She started crying and patti helped her up. However when we were about to leave a figure flashed by us and kicked Simon. "You bastard," he said. He kept kicking Simon. Then when he was sure Simon was out he stopped. "Don't you dare get near (y/n) ever again," he said. The figure turned towards us and I immediately recognized it. "Soul," I asked. "Yeah," he said. (Y/n) looked and ran towards him. Then she started crying and he hugged her.

I ran towards soul, hugged him tightly and kept crying. He hugged me tightly. "You're okay," I said. "Yeah I'm fine but you aren't," he said. He put his hand over my head and healed the cuts. "He didn't do anything else to you right," he asked. "He did get a look under her skirt," kid said. Soul got pissed. He hugged me tightly. "He had her arms against the floor pretty hard," Liz said. Soul gently got my arm and saw the marks. "He might've kissed her," Patti said. Soul sent a laser flying and it barely missed Simon. "I'm so so so sorry (y/n)," he said. Then I calmed down. "Alright Simons out. Kid can you take him to lord death and explain what happened," stein said. "Yeah," kid said. "Thanks kid," soul said. "No problem," he said. "Soul," I said. "Yeah," he said. "I'm glad you're safe and thank you," I said. "Im safe and so are you that's all that matters. I'd do anything for you (y/n), I love you very much," he said as he put his hand on my cheek. "I love you very much too," I said as I put my hand over his. We leaned in and kissed. After a moment we parted and I didn't really want to. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him. He was shocked but he still kissed back. 'His kisses are gentle and passionate, they described a million words with only actions,' I thought. We parted and a light blush covered my face. "Hey don't get so embarrassed," he said. "I-It's just we've never really kissed in public," I said. "Well we should do it more often," he said. My face got redder. "Don't worry, I'm just joking," he said. "Well I guess schools over," I said as the bell rang. He picked me up bridal style. While we were walking I asked," how did you know that I needed help when Simon first attacked me?" His expression changed and he said," something was telling me that you were in trouble I don't know what though." "Ok," I said. I put my head to where I could hear souls heart beat. I sighed contently. He placed a soft kiss on my lips and said," you can fall sleep." "Thank you my love," I muttered. "You're welcome my princess," he said. Then I fell asleep.

When I felt (y/n) fall asleep I sighed. 'God I'm such an idiot. I knew that I shouldn't have left her alone,' i thought. I walked to the house with the love of my life in my arms.
'You should be thanking me,' the voice said.
'I don't even know who you are,' I thought.
'Do not worry I am not an enemy,' the voice said.
'How do I know you're not,' I thought.
'You must trust me soul eater evans.'
'That's kind of hard to do.'
'Believe me the time will come where you will see me.'
'How do you even know me?'
'Because of (y/n).'
'I swear if any harm comes to her I will personally kill you!'
'I will show myself but I swear that id never do anything to hurt her.'
'Why can't you show yourself?'
'Because of what happened today.'
I stayed quiet.
'She doesn't blame you soul. Neither do I.'
'I know but I feel terrible.'
'Do not worry soul. I shall show myself soon please be prepared.'
That was all the voice said. I looked at (y/n) and noticed she was crying. "Stop... Stop... If... Help..." She said. She started squirming and I tried to wake her up. "(Y/n), (y/n)," I said. Her eyes flew open and she looked scarred. She looked around in a panic. "(Y/n)? What's wrong," I asked. She looked at me and started crying. "It's alright, it was just a nightmare," I said soothingly. "I know but...," she stopped talking. I opened the door to the house and went to my room. When I was about to put her on the bed, she held onto me. "(Y/n)," I asked. She let go of me and sat on the bed. "It's nothing," she said. "You sure," I asked. She nodded. I closed my room door and sat on the bed with her. "What's wrong," I asked. "In my dream I heard a voice... She was talking to me and I felt like I was falling and I just started crying," she said. "That voice, what did it sound like," I asked. "A gentle, caring, loving voice and it was a women she said she knew me," she said. "Weird, the same voice was in my head earlier," I said. She looked at me and said," we'll ask lord death tomorrow." I nodded. We laid down and I put the blanket over us. "Soul," she said. "Yeah," I asked. She held my hand and I held hers tightly. Then I noticed she was shaking. I pulled her close to me and hugged her. 'I wonder if she is shaking because of earlier... Stupid question,' I thought. "Yeah I'm shaking a little because of that," she said. "I didn't say anything," I said. "Yeah you did, you said 'I wonder if she is shaking because of earlier... Stupid question'," she said. "I thought it. I didn't say it," I said. "Wait I can read your mind," she said. "Let me try again think of something," she said. 'I'm sorry,' I thought. "It's ok, I'm fine," she said. "You can read my mind," I said shocked. "You try," she said. "Say what you will but it's still my fault," I said. "You can read my mind too," she said happily. We sat up and we stayed quiet. She moved over to me and hugged me. I hugged her back. Then a bunch of little lights came together and it formed a person. "I figured I should show myself now," the women said.
