I was looking for (y/n) but I couldn't find her. So I decided to go home. "Hey soul," Maka said. "Hey," I said. "Did you find her," she asked. "No," I said. "Why did she leave in the first place," she asked. "I don't know. But I should've woken up when she needed me," I said. After a while I said,"I'm such an idiot." "Go look for her again," she suggested. "Maka," I said. "Yeah," she asked "I need your help. Can you help me find (y/n)," I asked. "Sure," she said. "Hold on," I said and I started to fly. "Wow," Maka said in awe. "Not the time Maka," I said. "Right," she said. "She's at kids house," she said. We got to kids house and I knocked on the door. "what are you doing here again soul," kid asked. "I'm looking for (y/n)," I said. "Well she's not here," he said. "But my soul perception says she's here," Maka said. Kids eyes widened. "Why aren't you letting soul see (y/n)," she asked. "She said specifically to not tell you she was here," he said. "Well now we know she's here," she said. "I suppose it's up to her to decide whether she want to see you or not," he said. "Liz," he said. "Yeah," Liz replied. "Tell (y/n) that souls here and he wants to talk to her," he said. "Alright," she said. After a minute kid let (y/n) through the door. She had bandages on her shoulders and on her back. "What do you want," she asked coldly. "I just wanted-," she cut me off by slapping me. Maka stood there in shock and kid stood by just watching. "Why did you yell at Ayame," she asked angrily. I was too shocked to say anything. "Goddammit answer me," she yelled she was about to punch me but kid stopped her. "Calm down," he said. She wanted to say something but kept quiet. She took a deep breath. "What do you want," she asked. I snapped out of it and said," I wanted to apologize." She clenched her fists. "I know that I should've woken up when you needed me and I'm sorry for that. I was so worried about you and I must've yelled at Ayame and I regret that," I said. "You forgot one thing to apologize for," kid said. "I didn't do anything else," I said. "Bullshit," he said. I stood there confused. "You hurt her! You yelled at her and made her shoulders bruise and bleed," he said angrily. "What are you talking about? I haven't done anything to her and I wouldn't do that," I said. "You don't remember! You went into my mind and saved me from the kishin! Then you healed my wounds. Afterwards you healed my wounds and then you started yelling at me and you grabbed my shoulders tightly," she said while shaking. "I didn't do that," I said. "Wait you didn't," she asked confused. "Yeah! I would never do that well the healing part I would but not hurting you," he said. "B-But-," she cut herself off. And her eyes were filled with hatred. "(Y/n)," kid asked. "She tricked me," she yelled. "Who tricked you," I asked. "Arachne! She told me that she was going to break me," she said. Everyone was shocked. "Wait does that mean that soul didn't do anything," Maka asked. "I guess so," (y/n) said. "That's a relief," kid said. "Why," I asked. "Well I don't want to see you two fight," he said. (Y/N) smiled and hugged him. "Thank you big bro," she said. Then she gave him a kiss on his cheek. I turned away and everyone laughed. Then I felt someone's arms wrap around me. I looked and saw (y/n). "Is someone a little jealous," she asked. I hugged her. "I think we should go inside kid," Maka said and they went inside.

We stood there hugging. After kid and Maka went inside I felt something land on my face. I wiped the it off and thought 'a tear?' I looked at soul and saw he was crying a little. I put my hands on his cheeks and wiped away his tears. "Why are you crying," I asked. "I regret everything from today," he said. "Don't worry, it's not your fault," I said. "I yelled at Ayame. I wasn't there when you needed me," he said. "It's alright, Ayames fine but maybe you should apologize to her in person," I said. "I don't blame you if you both don't want to see me or have anything to do with me," he said. "I love you," I said. He looked at me and kissed me. We parted and he put his forehead against mine. "Sorry," he said. "It's ok," I said with a smile. I grabbed his hand and he smiled a little. "Let's see what she says," I said. Then we walked inside the mansion. "There you are," kid said. "I was outside," I said. "Yes but with no one around! Death knows what went on between you two," he said. We blushed. "N-Nothing went on," I said. "Say what you will," he said. "Whatever. Where's 'yame," I asked. "In her room," he said. "Thanks big bro," I said as me and soul went to her room. "I'll stay out here," he said. "I'll tell you when you can come inside," I said. He nodded and I knocked on the door. "Come in," Ayame said. I entered her room and closed the door. "Mommy," she said happily as she hugged me. "Hi 'yame," I said as I hugged her. "Why'd you leave," she asked. "W-Well I had to go somewhere real quick," I said. "Ok," she said. " 'yame," I asked. "Yes mommy," she said. "I- well- what do you think about daddy now," I asked. She stopped what she was doing and looked at me. "Well I know daddy didn't mean to yell at me but that doesn't mean it still didn't hurt. I love him very much and I don't want him to be angry with me," she said. "Oh 'yame," I said as I hugged her. "I miss him but I'd be good if he apologized," she said as she started crying. "It's ok," I said as I patted her back. "What if I told you that someone was here to see you," I asked. I wiped away her teas and she said,"who's here?" "You can come in," I said. Then soul came into Ayames room. "Hi Ayame," he said. She put her chin up and looked the other way. We laughed. "Ayame I know you're mad and I know you might not want to talk to me but I just wanted to say I'm sorry," he said. Ayame smiled at ran to him. "Apology accepted," she said and smiled. He hugged her and they laughed. 'All this was because of Arachne,' I thought. 'Can't be helped. But I will protect them from her,' I added. "So where are we going," Ayame asked. "Home I think," he said as he looked at me. "Yeah we're going home,"I said. We cleaned the room, thanked kid, and left. "How is it that when these types of things happen, we usually figure it out the same day," he asked. "I don't know," I said with a shrug. "Me either But i wouldn't have it any other way," he said. "Neither would I," I said. He held my hand tightly.
