Fresh Thyme
It is Saturday, I got up and four am and went to the grave site to sit with Mira. I just sat in side of it for over an hour in silence. I missed my fucking sister so much. I would give anything to have her back with me.
If I could change anything about that night I would have never left her there, never. I just don't know what to do, or how to make myself not feel like this was my fault.
I just can't help but feel this way, because it is.
"Where are your parents?" Sage took me out of my thoughts of Mira.
"What?" I looked at her.
"Your parents? Or siblings we only know Brianna and Ali she is your cousin. You don't have other family?" She asked pushing the shopping cart.
"I don't have parents, my little sister died" I said.
"Oh, sorry. How o..."
"We not talking about her, aight?"
"Yes, sorry sure" she said.
"So, how was your day?" She asked.
"Sage your seventeen you don't have friends?" I asked.
"No, I don't. Sorry for that" she said.
"Why are you sorry for not having friends?" I asked.
"I don't know" she looked at me as I stopped the cart with my hands on it.
"Hey, Queen" a women walked passed touching my arm.
"I got a girl, don't fucking touch me bitch" I said and she walked faster away.
"I'm sure there is one person you call your friend?"
"No."
"Is something wrong with you?" I asked her as she stared at me.
"No."
"Why are you looking like that?" I asked.
"Like that? I'm just..I don't know it's just my face, sorry" she said.
"Stop saying sorry, look don't apologize to no one for shit you hear me?"
"Yes."
"What do you want to eat?" I asked and proceeded to walk away.
