ALEXANDROS

SITTING ON THE PORCH, Alexandros gazed out at the swirls of pink, red, and yellow littering the horizon. The sun was quickly setting, and he always seemed to like watching it whenever he needed to relax.

Today was definitely a day he needed to relax.

Grabbing his beer that was on his left side, he took a swig and grimaced. He really hated beer.

A screen door opening and closing caught his attention, and he turned his head to the right to see who had disturbed him.

"What do you want Damian?"

Damian stared down at him, his black eyes revealing nothing of what he was thinking.

"What?" Alexandros asked again.

"You are grieving."

Alexandros rolled his eyes. "Grieving. You make it sound like someone died."

Damian rolled his eyes in turn and lowered his tall frame into the chair on the other side of the front door. "You're certainly acting like it."

"What do you mean? I've just been acting like you for the past couple of days."

It was true that Damian was a dark bastard. Never smiling, never cracking a joke, never carrying himself with lightness.

He was a tall man, a bit taller than Alexandros' 6'5 frame. The two even had similar frames, thin but packed with lean muscle.

"Funny." Damian responded back, still staring at him.

"Stop staring at me."

"I like seeing you squirm."

Rolling his eyes again, Alex sniffed a little. "Why'd I let her go?"

Damian said nothing, just leaned back.

"She was- she was everything. We had everything. We had planned our future. That shit isn't with everyone. I still remember everything about her, even if we broke up two months ago man. She was gorgeous man, so fucking gorgeous.
