ILIAS
"IM GETTING CORNROWS." Ilias said to Alexandros as he drove them to the store- Damian's house needed groceries.
Alexandros glanced at him, then turned his attention back to the road. "I've always pictured you with dreads."
Ilias rolled his hazel eyes. "Nah man. Dreads get tiring after a while. With me, they get nappy too."
"You do you man. But after, you should shave your head and get a nice wave going."
Ilias squinted at Alexandros from the corner of his eye. "Man, you sure want me to do a lot of things with my hair." He sighed sadly and continued, "besides, I need to cut the dreads off first, be bald for a bit then get me some cornrows."
"You're not actually gonna be bald will you?"
"No man! My hair is just gonna be short, waves probably."
Alexandros chuckled a bit, then changed the subject."How's your mom doing anyway?"
Ilias smiled widely at the mention of his mom. His mother, April, is a beautiful black woman who is Ilias' number one fan. From the moment Ilias was born, April made him her world. Ilias was always a danger-seeking kid. From jumping off the kitchen counters at two years old to boxing at eight, he was a lot to handle.
"She's good. She got a date tonight with some white fat fuck." Ilias muttered angrily as he remembered what his mom had told him over the phone the other day.
"At least she's finally got over Ares." Alexandros stated, which made Ilias grudgingly agree.
When a god or goddess decides to spend the night with a human, they basically rock their world. It doesn't matter if the human is a legend on earth, or if they're dirt poor. They all get attached.
When they get left-because they all get left eventually, no supernatural stays with their fuck buddies- some go as far as to kill them selves because they're too distraught. They blame themselves for the other beings that left them.
Thankfully Ilias' mom didn't go to such lengths. April is a strong woman, which is one of the reasons why she got Ares' attention, so she toughened it out. She focused on Ilias', especially since his condition warrants extra attention.
"She's gonna hump him and dump him." Ilias spoke as he chugged on his coke that he was holding up his mouth.
Alex groaned. "Stop talking about her like that."
When Alexandros noticed that Ilias stopped fiddling with the coke can, he reached into the middle compartment and got out a squishy ball that Ilias thankfully wouldn't be able to accidentally break.
"Squish it."
"That's what she said." Ilias said loudly before getting the ball and started playing with it.
He looked out the window as they suddenly went from empty fields meant for farming to a sudden hill, and at the bottom of the hill looked to be a giant population of people. A town probably.
"What's that?" Ilias asked Alex.
Alex glanced over, turned straight, then did a double take. "When the hell-"
"What's that?"
"That can't be- it was in a different place last time-"
"What is it?"
"What the hell?" Alex wasn't paying attention to Ilias as he kept glancing to the town-like place, his blue and green eyes looking happy, shocked, and wary.
"What is it?" Ilias asked as he threw the squishy blue ball into Alexandros' face, making him swerve.
"It's-it's a school. A college. A place for people like us." Alexandros almost whispered the last parts.
"Who's us?"
"Me. You. The guys."
"There's a bunch of dudes there? No thanks." Ilias scoffed as he retrieved the ball from Alexandros' lap, punching him in the nuts in the process. Alexandros wheezed and Ilias merely laughed at his pain. "Pussy bitch."
"You hit me in the balls!"
"And? I just wanted my ball."
Alexandros rolled his eyes, all too used to being in physical pain around Ilias.
"It's a place for demigods."
"Why aren't we there?"
Alex scoffed and patted Ilias' thick shoulder. "We don't want to be in there man. What the government does in there is sick. They use some of them as lab rats. Others go off fine, thinking it's just a regular school. Callista said-" He cut off there.
"Who's Callista?" Ilias asked, then remembered. "Ah, the one who broke your heart into little tiny-"
"Yeah yeah, I get it. Yeah- um, she told me that they're not too bad to the majority of the students. Most of them can use technology and everything, it's literally just college to them. But others man- they can get roughed up."
Ilias squinted, deep in thought. "I wanna go in there."
Alexandros rolled his eyes. "We're not going in there."
But Ilias wasn't listening, already making plans on how to infiltrate the school.

mhmm , short chapter but I think a lot of Ilias' chapters are gonna be short, just because he doesn't even think a lot anyways so there's not a whole lot to dive into-
