CALLISTA

"PAPA, CÁLMATE ALLÍ VOY A llegar en la tarde."

"Bueno, y porque no antes? Yo no me siento bien, casi me voy a morir, y tu ni te preocupas-"

Callista tuned out her father as he proceeded to exaggerate his fever, trying to guilt her into going to visit him sooner.

"Ya?" Callista asked when he decided to pause his ranting and take a deep breath.

Callista was on her way to class, this one being a lecture given by Dr. Neally who was lecturing on the process of properly sacrificing things for the gods.

Today would be a boring one for sure.

Since it was still August, Callista had decided to wear black sweatpants, a tight white tank top and Birkenstock's. Her hair was in a messy bun and her face was free of makeup. It wasn't the best look, basic more than anything, but she couldn't care less. She was just going to a lecture after all, no one she wants to impress is there.

"Si maldita niña." Her father finished and hung up.

Callista popped the bubble she was forming with her gum and continued walking.

Her relationship with her father was... rocky at best. Ricky Santos was a retired porn star and entertainer- as is her step-mother, Nicky Vasquez. It's always been a bit embarrassing growing up, having girls know what your father looks like naked and talking about how hot he is. It's not something everyone would consider a compliment.

There is, naturally, a reason why Aphrodite noticed him. Callista never wants to even look at her father in that way, but she knows he's attractive for his age, and even more so when he was younger. Callista got a lot from him, his green eyes and his brown hair. She got height from both parents, making her a good 6 feet tall. She got many good things from her dad, but she also got some bad things- his temperament, flighty-ness, and stubbornness one of the few.
