Everything had gone up in fire, everything was so sudden, that even after a week the citizens of Hastinapur were still struggling to take grasp of the reality.

"We tried reaching to the other neighboring kingdoms, but seems like no one survived, or are under some place hiding away." Yudhisthir stated, as he sat in the cave with the men of his family and some important personalities.

"Monsters didn't leave anyone!" Growled Duryodhan, his eyes red from crying. He had lost Bhanumati, the anger of revenge burning bright in his chest.

He wanted to shred everyone, kill each one of those monsters who had taken his wife away from him. "I'll kill them!" He roared, the agony burning brighter in his chest.

"We will son, but for now we need to plan. Actions taken in haste often result in self destruction dear." Dhritarashtr counselled, he understood what his son was going through, he really did understand.

He too was angry, but currently he knew they needed to think before acting.

"Whoever these people are, they had immense power, their weapons are something that we have never seen before. Their weapons were something that never seen before. No neighbouring kingdoms or anyone we have heard or known has this kind of power." Vidur stated, his voice trailed off as if deep in thoughts.

"They were too fast, and every move well executed. They knew our exists and secret entries, there is no way  that there wasn't someone from our side helping them." Stated the Arjun, his voice ringing with surety.

A silence fell over them, they gazed at each other. Suspicion seeping in, who could fall so low and cheat their own family?

A mummer set over all, their eyes tracing over each other's faces.

"We from now on need to be very careful, specifically since our defenses are less. We need to first find a place for us. This people are spreading around like wildfire." Nakul pointed out.

"There's is also the part, that they are destroying major cities and jungles, and high leaving structures are being created, there is constant movement in those buildings, they are taking the cut trees, precious stones, have been digging the places up, they call it mining? There's also women and kids and also men being transported, everyday their number is increasing. They are killing animals, taking theirs hides and skin, teeth, nails everything. They are destroying everything. And the smoke that those building is emitting is too dangerous for our mother nature, not to mention the garbage that they are emptying in the water bodies. And this are just the peak of the iceberg. There are so many more foul practices they have began." Sehdev stated, his spies had done a good job of getting the internal reports.

A tense silence filled the room, such degradation of nature shook them more than anything. Practices of their living were such that nothing harmed mother nature, they had differences true, they took what they needed from nature, very true. But never abused it's generosity.

"This is all so wrong. Don't they understand that human wars are one thing, but this nature is out mother, we are like the children in her womb that she feeds through the umbilical cord, and they are cutting the very cord. They can't abuse her like this. It's biggest sin." Pitamah said, his words were laced with horror.

Because he was seeing a child slowly, day by day murdering his own mother. And she was ever giving, forgiving.

"How they can do this?" Duryodhan was shocked, sure he hated his cousins, he wanted kingdom, didn't really like the dharma. But he wasn't an animal.
