Bheem smiled as he walked in the palace, the whole of Hastinapur was decorated like a new bride, it's beauty captivating their hearts. His gaze travelled to Panchaali who was taking in everything like a new born, her gaze was full of wonderment, Vrikodar smiled, she looked so excited and completely lost in everything she didn't even notice all the awe filled gazes that were on her, marvelling her beauty, it was true that beauty like her had never been seen before in their life and everyone was mesmerized just the way pandavas had been. "Who is she putr?" Mata Kunti asked, "That's panwali mata!" Nakul teased earning a glare from Panchaali while the others laughed. "That is Panchi mata, she's from afar kingdom of India, has come to receive the formal training of being a princess and knowledge of Aryavart. Since she's a friend we offered she could stay here as long as she wished. I hope that's alright?" Bheem explained the story that they had made up to cover Panchaali's reality. "Of course it's alright." Dhritarashtr replied with a huge smile, "Yes sons it's alright." Bhism added, joy lacing his words.
Panchaali stepped forward red dusting her cheeks as all the gazes fell on her, she joined her hands in a traditional sign of greeting and many voices chorused blessings. She smiled, her heart warming up at their acceptance, "Gandhari, Kunti begin the aarti." Dhritarashtr said, the two nodded taking the aarti thaalis in each their hands and began their aarti.
Panchaali's POV:
Finally I was alone, I sighed as I watched the guest room that was allotted to me, it was so beautiful. I looked around the room, it was huge compared to my old one.
After awhile Panchaali was guided to the guest room, where she would stay, she looked around her mouth agape.
"Putri this will be your room." Kunti said looking at the new princess, her beauty radiated unlike anything else, captivating every onlooker. "Yes putri you are like our daughter, call us mata." Gandhari said kindly, a warm smile on her face, watching the beautiful girl who had been complete darling since the moment she had arrived, there was a serene calmness they felt around her, like they only felt when they were either in the company of Krishn, or the pandavas.
Panchaali looked at Kunti and Gandhari, they were so damn young looking like one of those santoor moms. She bit back a chuckle as she mentally imagined the two women say santoor santoor, in that sing song manner.
