"Yeona." Haechan whined as Yeona sat there, scrolling through her feed. They were working together on their assignment but after an hour or so, they both clearly needed a break so they decided to spend some time focused on something else.
"What?" Yeona asked, past the point of being annoyed with the male beside her.
"I'm hungry." Haechan said, pouting as he poked her. "Can we eat?"
"Why can't you go order something yourself?" Yeona asked, eyes still on her phone.
"Because I want to get a bit more done after this." Haechan said. "Plus, we're taking a break anyways. Might as well extend it."
Yeona put her phone down, closing her laptop. "Wait, what are you doing?"
"Going home." Yeona said, deciding to pack up. Judging by the way Haechan was looking at her, he was clearly confused.
"Why?"
"Because you're hungry and I am too so I'm going to go home." Yeona said, swinging her bag over her shoulder. "Was that simple enough for you?"
Haechan simply stared back at her. "So you're going to eat without me."
"Yes." Yeona said, taking a deep breath. "Plus, my parents are waiting."
"Whatever." Haechan said, waving his hand and taking his phone out. "I'll eat with my roommates."
Seeing that Haechan was too focused on his phone, Yeona decided to take the time to walk away, making her way to the bus stop.
He doesn't need to know, anyways.
