He stayed hidden behind some of the shrubs and watched as she ascended the wall as if it were something she did on a regular basis. She was a sight to behold. He caught his heart in his throat when she stood at the edge of the board that had been setup for practice on getting way from high situation and diving into water. Was the girl crazy she was going to kill herself. He was about ready to shout out to stop her. He froze in awe watching in amazement as she gracefully jumped off the board backwards spun twice and then arched her body and pointed her hands and gracefully entered the water. He had never seen anyone who could do such a thing. She truly was a goddess because no mere mortal could have done what she had.
Nora swam to the edge of the pond and hopped out of the water. She had been hot, and the dip gave her the a needed cool down her body desired. She made her way into the ruins and decided to practice with a blade she advanced on the dummy and began her dance. She had no idea she was being watched if she had she might not have released her inhibitions. She had always been full of expression and when she was practicing alone she was able to release the chains of society and was free to be her true self.
He was spell bound he had never seen a woman so light and elegant all while holding a sword. Something was calling him he wanted to join her in her dance. He did not know when, but he found himself standing in the ruins with a blade in his hands. She had not noticed him, yet her eyes were closed listening to the melody only she could hear.
"May I join you?"
She was startled and her eyes flew open. There he was in person not in her imagination. He was standing with his feet still in the 'L' perspective he stood in the en-garde position, his knees were bent. The hand he held his weapon in was held at one hand's width apart from the body. His elbow bent beautifully that the blade was facing slightly upwards. The other hand was positioned behind his body. She had never seen anyone other than her brother Simon who was a prodigy have a better form. Suddenly Nora had a chill running through her body, and it was not because she was damp from her swim but the excitement of fencing with a man to be known to be one of the best sword fighters in all of England. She nodded and took her stance and their dance began.
Slowly at first they danced around one another neither making a move. Then Nora stretched her blade out never knowing how seductive fencing could be. She flicked the first button on his over jacket and laughed at his surprise.
"Let us play your grace."
His smile was playful as well. He used his blade to cut the tie of her top button of her blouse.
"Touché!"
She took another button of his jacket and then the other two. He was magnificent he shrugged out of the jacket and then resumed their dance. He took two more buttons of her blouse giving him a view of the top of her breast. Those lovely mounds he had been dreaming about since the first night he had met her. She laughed and they danced some more. She aimed for the two top buttons on his breeches. The flap folded over and it was his turn to laugh.
"Are you sure you want to continue?"
"Are you conceding the battle your grace?"
"Not by a long shot my dear as it stands you are still dressed as am I."
"Very well your grace let us continue."
They resumed their stances and they began once again. This time he swiped the two remaining showing buttons her blouse was now wide opened, and he could see she was wearing little triangles of cloth. No corsets no bindings two silky wisps of material. My god she was indeed a goddess, he needed her he wanted her. To hell with Ada she must not truly love him, and he had never felt this kind fervor building up inside of him. God help him he would make this right later, but he wanted this woman and he wanted her here and now.
