Parker took me back to the studio, where my car was. "Thank you for everything today," I said looking over at Parker.
He smiled and nodded his head, "Anytime. I hope everything goes well with you and..."
I interrupted, "Jaden."
He spoke again, "Right Jaden. Anyways, if things don't go well I'm always a phone call away. I'll see you at the studio on Thursday for our first session."
I smiled and nodded, "See you on Thursday." Then I got out, and got into my car and drove home.
When I got home, it seemed oddly quiet in the house. No one was anywhere to be found. I went up to my room, and when I walked in I found Jaden sitting on the edge of the bed. His back was to me and he was staring out the big window that looked out to the city. I slowly walked over to where he was, and took a seat next to him.
Neither of us spoke for what felt like forever. Jaden was the first one to speak, "I was worried sick about you." He still didn't look at me, and I knew he had been crying. My heart broke hearing the way his voice sounded.
I placed my hand on his, "I am so sorry Jae. I don't know what I was thinking."
He spoke again, "Is he more than just a friend?"
My heart dropped once more, I knew he was talking about Parker. I had to tell him about the deal. "No he's just a friend. Today when I went to meet with Penelope, she proposed that in order to help boost my career, Parker and I fake date for the public to promote our song that we are going to be releasing in a couple months. I didn't want to tell you over the phone, but Penelope insisted that Parker and I spent the day together to be seen. I'm such a terrible girlfriend. I should've said no, and just lost my record deal. I can't lose you, Jae." I was full on crying now.
He finally looked over at me and cupped my cheeks with his hands, and he wiped my tears with his thumbs, "Babe, relax. Everything is fine. This is for your career, and I could never stand in the way of that. You have always been there for me and supported me in everything that I do. While I don't particularly like the idea of another guy being with you, it's not real like us. We are in this for the long run, and I can't go through life without you by my side."
I smiled, "God, I love you so much Jae."
He smiled, kissing me softly, "I love you too El."
We kissed once again, after we pulled away, I giggled as my stomach was growling, "Can we go get some food?"
He laughed, "Of course."
I smiled, "Yay!! I'm just going to go change real quick." I walked over to our closet and I stripped, I could tell Jaden was watching me. I looked through Jaden's hoodies, and I picked one out and pulled it over my head. Then I slid on some sweatpants. I then threw my hair into a messy bun.
I walked out of the closet, "Alright. I'm ready let's go."
We went out and got into his car. We drove to In-N-Out, and decided to go inside to eat. I sat at a table while Jaden ordered our food.
When Jaden came over with out food, I smiled big like a little kid. I was so lucky to have him.
He sat the food down, then sat across from me. I immediately started eating.
Jaden laughed, "Someone's hungry."
I flicked him off, and he just laughed.
We soon finished our food, and then we went home.
After we got home we laid in bed cuddling, and just talking.
Jaden looked at me smiling, "One day I'm going to marry you."
I smiled, taken aback by his random comment, "Is that so?"
He grinned and nodded, "Yes. Then we're going to have lots of babies."
I giggled and shook my head, "I can't wait."
He kissed my forehead, "Me either babe."
After awhile we both drifted off to sleep. I'm so glad everything was ok between Jaden and I.
