The Mysteries of the House- Flicker

Part 11: The death never stops.

Alex's POV:

 "Viola was killed by the murderer. She was sliced down the middle. The investigator has died, so there is no lead on who is evil." Wait, she was the investigator? I quickly pick up the journal, and it reads "I was investigator but I died, sucks to be me." So she really was the investigator. I decide to join a serious discussion taking place.  

Zahrah slams her hands on the table. "We need to begin suspecting those with blue jeans! The murderer is clearly one of them!" Cody thinks for a second. "So Elizabeth, Joshua, Alicia, Ally, Mary, and I think there were some others, right?" "Cash and Cactus too." Thomas adds. "Maybe it's a frame, and maybe Mila or Marley is the killer." I appreciate Albert's smart thinking.  "Or it could be Zahrah, she clearly wants one of us gone, so she could be framing us!" Joshua also has a point. Ally quickly adds, "You guys know I was attacked! I'm not the murderer!" Oh true, some body tried to kill her the night Alec was voted off. 

 "I think it's Cash or Elizabeth." Alicia protests. "They're really quiet." Charlie raises an eyebrow. "How do we know you're not trying to divert attention away from yourself?" Jojo groans and Marley sighs, "This is just going to go back and forth. We're not getting anywhere." Suddenly I hear a heavy thud and screams. I rush upstairs, to see what all the commotion is, but I do not expect what I find waiting for me up there. The speaker makes an urgent announcement.

 "Oops! Looks like Mila just killed herself! That ruined the mood." Do they not really care about what just happened? Sure enough, Mila threw herself down the stairs, and her bones are protruding from many different places. Ally begins crying from the sudden death and we all feel like we should give up. By reading Mila's journal, we find out she was a survivor. Looks like we got nowhere. The death never stops. I don't want to keep doing this. Why can't the murderer just put me out of my misery already?

 "I lowkey think Alicia is the most suspicious." Cody mumbles. Alicia is in shock. "Why me? Why would I kill Bailey?" Jojo looks at her in disappointment . "Alicia, don't try to pull that. We all know that the murderer targeted Melodie, and Bailey had to die because she was her twin. Stop being so silly. Using such a lame excuse makes you dig yourself deeper, and to be honest, if you didn't say that? You might not have had the most votes." Before Alicia can make a rebuttal, the speaker announces, "It is time for you all to vote." I honestly think it's Zahrah.  As a result , I vote her, but it doesn't matter.

 "Alicia had the most votes." Alicia flips Cody off before she is carried to her death, and her body is dropped down as minced meat. "Welp, hope we were right." Albert quietly exclaims. Sadly, when Cash reads her journal, all it says is, "Survivor, shame on you if you voted me off." Welp, shame on us then. Guess we should have been more careful. Shame on us indeed. I think we're all too demotivated to do much now, and the stress of the situation clearly got to Mila. Only 17 of us left... We need to do something. Most of our special roles are gone, and it this point it's basically survivors versus the murderer.

The lights go out, and I think of all the innocent people who died for us to get this far. I remember how Chidi found out Alec was the assassin, and Bailey helped us gather clues to the assasin too by finding the brown hair and paint. Even though Mateo, the clown, technically wasn't good, he still got rid of Jean-Claude, the dark psychic. Dan helped multiple people live, even though Adanna sadly didn't make the most of hi sacrifice, but he's the reason Ally is here today. Charlotte brought back Nikolai, who is on the good team, and Omar and Veronica  helped us find out Minji was evil, which in turn helped us discover that Kim-ly was also evil. 

Rosalie's POV: 

I quickly rush around the house once the lights are back on, and I see Jojo and Joshua chatting in the kitchen. I hope Mary is still alive. I see her walking around the house too. Suddenly Marley screams, and I go to see what the matter is. Not like I don't already know what she probably saw, for obvious reasons. As I expected, I see a blood trail leading to the bathroom downstairs. I look in and see a dead body, which is bleeding from it's head, and... Oh my god, there's blood coming from the....?

 "Cody was killed by the murderer. He was stabbed through the head, and then his _____ area was sliced and diced." What the fuck? Why did they do that? It's gross enough that they even made contact with that part. They're probably going insane like the rest of us. It's already horrible that there are dead bodies scattered everywhere at this point. I doubt anyone wants to move them, though. 

Now that Cody was killed in this bathroom, and Charlotte was killed in the bathroom near the kitchen, the bathroom in the room with the large bed is the only bathroom anybody feels comfortable using, but you still have to walk past Bailey and Melodie's bodies to get to it. Furthermore, nobody wants to sleep in the rooms Chidi and Colleen died in, and the addition of Jean-Claude's body ruins the peace of the living room. Then we have the kitchen, with Dashawn's decapitated head, and the laundry room feels like a place I never want to step foot in again because not only was Lara's death so gory, Adanna...

I decide to go over our suspects again. We have Cash, Charlie, Joshua, Elizabeth and Mary. I really hope it's not Mary, though. Oh yeah, and Cactus too. Thinking about how there are only 6 suspects gives me hope. We can end this killing game. There are enough of us left to find the murderer. Even if I die, the good team will win. We should stay motivated, and we will win! With this new hope, I return to the discussion, more determined than ever to find the killer a d get us all out of here.
