The Mysteries of the House- Flicker

Part 10: Like usual, death occured.

Minji's POV: 

"Dan was killed by the murderer. His eyes were torn out. The investigator believes Minji is evil." Well, I'm glad the investigator has brain cells. Since everybody knows who I truly am, even though Kim-ly found out LONG ago, I may as well embrace my identity as an evil. "Ahahahahahahaha!" I laugh like a maniac and stomp on Dan's corpse, until Ally drags me off. "That bitch has gone crazy." I hear Nikolai say.

I can't make out what the others are reading of his journal, but I don't care. It's so nice knowing I'm going to die, the despair is beautiful. It's all I've wanted ever since I've been forced to fill this role. I actually realized who the muffin man is, and I witched them last night to spread despair across the world. 

...

But who really knows? Maybe it's all just a lie. The mysteries of the house will never be revealed. 

There's nothing anybody can do. All that will ever happen is DEATH. They can't stop it. I can't stop it, Kim-ly can't stop it, Ally cant stop it, Mary can't stop it, Mila can't stop it, Cactus can't stop it, nobody will ever be able to stop it!

Mary's POV:

God, has Minji really snapped? I think she's really had enough after over a week in this place, and to be fair, so have a lot of us. I guess we're gonna vote her out tonight, and frankly, that's for the best. The discussion time seems to fly by, even though there are still a good amount of us left. Things just don't feel the same now.  Charlotte drinks coffee, and Joshua cries in a corner.

 "It is time to vote. The player with the most votes will be executed." I vote for Minji, as do the rest of us. "Minji had he most votes." Minji smiles at us. "So, before I die, I just want to say goodbye to the person who I grew the closest with, even before finding out they were evil. Obviously I won't say who there were so they can live fairly, but I just want to say I love-"  She is cut off by a voice. "I love you too, Minji." Kim-ly rushes up to Minji and kisses her, before showing her device, which shows her role, to us.

 "You are the scout."

 We all gape in shock she exposed herself like this, and Minji is dragged to her death. Eventually, a charred corpse drops back down, and Kim-ly runs away laughing. We are all silent. I think about how Minji and Kim-ly confessed their love, and I wish I could be able to open up to Rosalie like that... 

Like ususal, the lights turn out faster now. We all scurry in a panic, and Cash screams quite loudly. God, I heard him screaming when Bailey died, why is he so loud? I bump into Alicia as Albert makes a sound that makes me think me might have stubbed his toe. Cody is singing out of fear, and Alex begins to sing along with him. Charlie screams out in pain, but I think he merely bumped his head against the wall. 

Finally the lights have returned like always, and I see blood from the bathroom. I quickly rush in, and like usual, death occurred. The victim's body is laying in the tub, with a stab sound in their back that goes all the way through their body. I alert Zahrah and Thomas, who are nearby, and they bring the others.

 "Charlotte was killed by the murderer. She was stabbed through the back and placed in the bathtub. The investigator believes Kim-ly is evil." Charlotte's journal is soaking wet, but a bit of the paper is salvaged. Conveniently, I can make out, "I'm the savior. I ho-". So she was the savior, huh. I doubt that asshole Nikolai is thankful she brought him back to life, though.

I then just sit around. Rosalie seems to be a bit distant, but I know she isn't the murderer from the piece of blue jean fabric. Sucks that incriminates me. Anyways, it's tough to think the murderer who keeps making us suffer is still among us. I regret voting Veronica earlier. But maybe I should stop getting so upset over the past. There's nothing I can do now.

It doesn't feel like it takes that long for voting to arrive, either. Before you know it, "Kim-ly had the most votes. "When her body is returned to us, it appears she was speared through many parts of her body. We can't even find out anything else either. All her journal says is, "I used to have info in here, but you know the truth now, as revenge for what you did for Minji, I'm not saying anything!"

 Mila tries to cheer us up by doing a silly dance, and Marley tries to make a pun, but nobody is in the mood. I wish we could find more motivation. The lights go out again, and this honestly is beginning to feel routine. Just stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.... I can't control anything though. They come back eventually, but I don't even have energy to look for bodies any more. Cody quickly tells us that he found the corpse, and I come along too. It's all really a haze before I see the body and remind myself I need to get a hold of my self.

 "Viola was killed by the murderer."
