"CELIA" Taylah nudged me.

I got pulled away from the thoughts that kept flooding around my mind after what Draco told me. I was getting nervous as Christmas break was close. Thinking about what the dark lord was going to ask of me and what was going to happen as Severus was staying with us.

"Are you there"Cora then poked me.

"Sorry, just lost In thought"I laughed.

"We can see that"
"But You better focus because Lupin is making his way over here."Cora whispered.

I haven't seen Lupin for a good few days.I was glad he was back teaching, I never found out why he missed some classes. I could always ask him about it?

"Ah Miss Malfoy nice to see your paying attention"Lupin said making me jump out of my thoughts.

"Sorry Professor just thinking"

"I see"
"Everyone Lesson is finishing soon, so start to pack away" he announced to the class.

"Miss Malfoy may I have a word after everyone leaves"

"Of course Professor"

'Why did lupin want to talk to me. Did I do something wrong.'

But this could be a good time to ask him why he has been gone recently. I kept thinking to myself.

"Is there anything you need Professor"I asked.

"Not exactly I just wanted to see how you was getting on, you seemed distant in today's lesson" he questioned.

"Im Sorry I've just been distracted lately with some issues and Professor I have to ask"

Lupin just hummed in a response to me.

"I know it's none of my business but why did you miss that DADA lesson around a week back"

Remus's face turned pale and he looked at me not knowing what to say.
After a small pause he finally spoke.

"I just had some issues to sort out now if you'll excuse me I have a lesson to plan" he smiled faintly.

"Oh Um okay Professor" I spoke looking a bit confused as I turned to head out of the room.

I have never seen Remus act so weird as he did just then. It's like he wanted to change the subject so fast. I will find out what is going on with him eventually but for now I will focus on Severus and Christmas break.

I was on my way to potions when I realised I should of been there 5 minutes ago.
'Shit. I need to go. Now.'

I started to run towards the dungeons clutching my books to my chest. My hair waving behind me as I hurried.
The door to potions was ajar so I decided to run straight in. Students head turned towards me. I hated loads of attention.
I quickly got into my seat next to Cora at the back.

"Miss Malfoy. Your late"Severus said in a cold tone without looking up from the work on his desk.

"Im Sorry Professor, it won't happen again"

"Stay behind after class" he said glaring up and continuing on with the class.
"Today we will be brewing Amortentia, you have until the end of the class" He hissed.

This was a very powerful love potion, I have never made it before but my skills are far advanced so it won't be any trouble. Apparently when you smell it, you smell whatever attracts you the most.

"What ingredients do we need" Cora asked.

"Ashwinder eggs, rose thorns, peppermint, powdered moonstone, Pearl dust and rose petals" I said reading the list.

Me and Cora had been brewing the potion for a bit when we saw Snape striding towards us with his robe bellowing behind him.

"Is this correct Professor" Cora asked looking at the cauldron.

He grimaced "I believe it is"

"Miss Malfoy and Miss Arden have successfully brewed this potion, I expect you all to have it done to this quality" he snapped to the rest of the class.

I heard some groans come from students who have hardly even started it yet.

"Miss Malfoy would you care to smell the potion"

"Yes Professor"

I leaned in to smell the potion.
Parchment, Rain, a hint of lemon, leather and some sort of spices.
I gasped covering my mouth. Did I just smell Severus. My eyes widened.

"Well" Severus raised his eyebrow.

"I- I would rather not say" I mumbled.

"Very well" Severus said with a hint of humour.

"What did you smell" Cora asked shaking me.

"Um I don't think I can tell you"

"Why it's not like I'm going to tell anybody" she huffed.

"I will tell you but not right now"
"Fine"she rolled her eyes.

I could feel snapes eyes glued on me for the rest of the lesson. Did he know what I smelt. He better not of read my mind.
Students were getting shouted at, at the end of the lesson for failing the potion which resulted in Snape taking away house points.
I stayed behind waiting for students to leave.

"Miss Malfoy sit" he ordered pointing to the chair infront of his desk.

"Severus you can call me by my first name, everyone has gone"

"Celia what did you smell"He raised an eyebrow.

"I- Severus why does it matter" I questioned him feeling a blush coming along.

"Because I need to know" He mumbled.

"I smelt you..."I said in a hushed voice.

"Interesting"He said to himself.

"What did you smell" I asked longing for an answer.

"Rose Shampoo, Lavender, Quill ink and pumpkin"
"I smelt you Celia" He spoke in a soft tone.

"What does this mean Sev" I said my cheeks blushing.

"It means we can't ignore this"
