Unexpected Love

Chapter 25.

My eyes fluttered open and I slowly remembered I was in Severus' room. I looked to the left of me and saw that he was still fast asleep and he looked so peaceful. I tried not to disturb him as I carefully got out of bed and made my way towards the door.

"Celia" Severus mumbled.

I quickly turned around seeing him fumbled in the covers, rubbing his eyes.

"Yes" I replied taking another step forward passing a hand through my hair.

"Where are you going" he muttered rolling one leg out of the covers.

"To my dormitory, I'm still in my nightwear I need to hurry before anyone finds out I'm missing" I laughed giving him a reassuring smile.

"Ok"
"What do you have first" he said in his velvety tone.

"DADA and speaking of have you seem Remus recently?" I questioned crossing my arms.

"No he was having some time off but he is back today" Severus hummed taking a step towards me.

"Oh why's that" I raised an eyebrow.

"That doesn't matter"
"But Celia be careful with him" Severus warned.

"Careful?" I asked in a confused tone.

"Yes, now run along" he hushed putting a hand on my shoulder motioning me towards the door.

I turned around and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before hurrying out of the room and towards the Slytherin common room.

Why did Severus tell me to be careful with Remus? Is there something he is not telling me. I thought while carefully rushing through the long cold hallway.

"And where have you been" Cora snapped sat on the end of my bed with a frown on her face.

She is definitely getting suspicious, I need to be more careful going to meet Severus anyone could just follow me there.

"Went to clear my head, went for a walk" I rolled my eyes pushing her of my bed.

"You really think I don't know" she huffed snapping her head towards me.

"W- what" I exclaimed.

"You've been meeting someone, I'm not stupid Celia. Tell me who or I swear-"

"You want to know the truth" I cut her off.

"Go ahead" she mumbled waving a hand in the air.

"I've been having nightmares and I've got loads of work and everything is stressing me out! I needed some time to myself to think things through, I'm sorry I didn't tell you" I lied with gritted teeth.

Well not all of it was a lie.

"Oh" she replied quietly.
"I'm sorry of accusing you Celia" she patted my shoulder.

"Don't worry about it" I smiled innocently.
"Now we should get changed for breakfast" I said startling out a laugh.

"Your right" Cora said passing me my robe.

I slumped into the chair while lazily putting out my arm to grab a pastie and some toast for a change. I couldn't be bothered with today I was too tired and all the things that have happened in the past few months have been really messing with my head. Especially the nightmares I've been having.
I looked around the great hall with my head resting on my hand. I caught the eye of Severus and I gave him a quick smile before returning towards my food.
