Destiny is laying in bed wide awake and watches her boyfriend sleep more peacefully than he has for the last few weeks. She has been doing everything she can do to cheer him up- like having sex, which by the way is still amazing, and making his favourite dishes for lunches when he is home early, and dinner. She wants to make him happy at least home with her and Bear, knowing how hard and difficult the lawsuit is affecting his mental health and business.

She is planning everything for Bear's first birthday party, so all Liam would have to do is enjoy himself and celebrate this big milestone in his son's life. The bedroom is dimly lit from the brightness of her phone as she looks through the options for balloons for the birthday party. She doesn't want to wake Liam up, so she decides to go with bear-shaped metallic balloons. She thinks it would be cute and a little funny to have a baby bear theme birthday party for Bear.

She stops for a moment when she feels movement in the bed, knowing Liam is waking up. She turns her attention to her boyfriend who is stretching his body like a lion waking up from a deep sleep. She pecks his lips softly and gently lovingly strokes his cheek, not caring about the morning breath since she enjoys kissing him the moment he wakes up.

She smiles softly and whispers, "Good morning, babe."

He rubs the sleep out of his eyes and reaches out to her, tucking a loose strand of her hair behind her ear with a soft and exhausting smile as he responds, "Good morning, my love." He wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her closer to him, having her lay on top of him while he quietly asks, "What are you doing this early in the morning?"

"Planning Bear's birthday party."

"Do you need any help with the party planning?"

She shakes her head and kisses the tip of his nose before answering, "No, I have everything under control. All you have to do is enjoy the party and celebrate Bear's first birthday."

"Okay. Let me know if you do need any help." He says and climbs out bed.

She notices him heading to the bathroom, knowing he is going to take his morning shower. She flashes a smile to him and then turns her attention back to the birthday party planning until she hears Bear waking up on the baby monitor. She lifts the sheets and slips out of bed, putting her white cropped graphic t-shirt with the word "sleep" written across her chest in big black bold letters and dark maroon, white, and black track shorts back on. She brushes her fingers through her hair, putting her hair in a short ponytail and exiting the bedroom.

She enters the nursery to see Bear sitting in his crib and smiled softly as she greets, "Hi, there." She beams more and picks up him while she whispers, "Let's go get my phone so we can finish planning your birthday party."

Seeing this toddler smile always bring warmth to Destiny's heart as she goes back to the master's bedroom and sits back down on the bed with Bear sitting on her lap. She holds her phone at arm's length, so Bear couldn't get to it while she orders a birthday cake shaped like a baby bear and on its stomach, it says, "Happy 1st Birthday, Bear!" She looks away from the brightly lit phone screen to see Liam stepping out of the en suite dripping wet with a towel loosely wrapped around his waist.

Liam flashes a warm smile and runs his fingers through his wet hair while he says, "Nothing like a nice warm shower to start the day."

"Oh, that's wonderful. Do have anything important to do today?"

He shakes his head and enters his walk-in closet while he calls out, "No, today is my first day off in about a year. I was thinking maybe I could go to the grocery store and get some fresh ingredients for tonight's dinner that I'm making."

Destiny is actually surprised that Liam is going to cook for dinner tonight, but she thinks she will like to see him cook for them. It will be interesting to see what he is going to make a dish for dinner. She has never thought she would see him cook, but she just couldn't wait to eat his food. She does hope that food will be edible, or she is going to be in deep shit for dinner tonight.

She raises an eyebrow and flashes a soft smile in the direction he is while she responds, "I'm actually interested to see what you will make for dinner tonight."

Liam walks out of the closet in casual wear and makes his way over to the bed, kissing Destiny's cheek while he states, "I can tell you this: dinner is going to be delicious."

She pouts a little and teases, "Oh! Can't you just give me one little tiny clue?"

"Nope, not one little clue," He responses and pecks her lips fondly as he checks his watch and quickly adds, "I should probably head to the grocery store before it gets pretty hectic."

Destiny's pout turns into a warm and illuminating smile while she kisses his cheek in return and says, "Okay. Don't take too long at the grocery store because I want to know what you're making for dinner."

Liam lets out a warm and heart-filled chuckle leave his lips and shakes his head while he boops her nose and teases, "Nope. You're not going to find out what I'm making until suppertime."

The smile once again turns into a pout on the nanny's beautiful and youthful face while she sighs in defeat and murmurs, "Fine. Be like that."

The older man kisses her forehead softly and explains, "I promise dinner is going to be delicious."

"Okay. Okay."

Liam smiles softly and grabbed a pair of comfortable tennis shoes, grabbing his phone, his wallet, and his house keys. He kisses her cheek once again and tells her goodbye before he heads downstairs to the front door. He unlocks the door and locks it from the outside before making his way to his car, unlocking the car doors and climbing into the driver's seat. He puts the key in the ignition and starts the car, backing out of the garage and then putting the car in drive.

Destiny holds Bear in her arms and watches Liam leave to the grocery from the window as she sighs quietly to herself. She walks back over to the bed and places Bear in the middle of the bed as she climbs back on the bed and continues working on the birthday party.
