Whisper to no surprise was standing in the shadowed area of the room listen to the music being played and gossip going around.
They had found a body in the woods. And they think a burned one was the one to kill it. Just at the mention of the name Whisper was sent on edge.  The Nightmares from previous nights playing through her head of the monster covered in char. Her magical instincts involuntary searching for a trace near by, though she knew there wouldn't be, the magical barrier made sure of that. Still the girl couldn't help but be anxious.
Sky walked into the open hall, immediately, his eyes searched for the familiar Silver locks he has been so desperate to talk to. Why? Well he wasn't quite sure, part of him thought she was just lonely and lost, in need of a friend, the other part felt as though she was what he needed. What that implied again it was sure, but he sure as hell wasn't going to miss another opportunity to talk to this girl, or at least get her name.
Whisper was sipping her drink staring off into space when a deep voice behind her spoke " hello there". She whipped around eyes wide in fear thanks to the voice startled her only to meet eyes with a firm chest. "Mphm" she grunted almost spilling her drink. " oh I'm terribly sorry, I- I didn't mean to scare you" the guy said " oh uh no it's a- you know what don't worry no harm done" she said as she looked up and realized it was the same cute boy from earlier. "I'm still sorry, I'm Sky by the way" he said holding his hand out to shake.
Whisper was hesitant at first she hated human contact, she constantly feared that her power would fluke just like they did all those years ago. " you shake it" Sky said in a matter of fact tone. " No shit Sherlock" the short girl replied. This caused him to laugh. 'Adorable' the short girl thought, as she shook is hand staring in his bright blue eyes. " and your name is?" Sky questioned. "oh right sorry, the names Whisper" Sky looked down at the girl, the name suited her. " well Whisper I couldn't help but notice you earlier today near the specialist's training ground" he said desperately trying to start a conversation with the girl without sounding weird. " I was and I think I recall seeing you, kicking that guys ass" she said pointing over to where Riven was, who indeed was pestering with some first years. " uh yeah thats Riven my best mate, and might I ask what you were doing there?"
Whisper chuckled, she truly had no idea what she was doing, she hated crowds and rarely talked to anyone let alone not being awkward during conversations. But for some reason with this Sky, it was natural like she couldn't mess up even if she wanted to, like a breath of fresh air, or a light in the dark. " well you see wonder boy, I was looking for my new spot" Sky's lips twisted upwards at the nick name, he liked it. " your spot?" He asked. " yeah, sometimes you need your own spot got a problem with that?" She responded a bit aggressive. Just because Whisper was unusually comfortable with him doesn't mean he get a free look into her life. " not at all, I just hope you don't mind if I use it from time to time" the blonde said hoping it would give and excuse to see her again. The Silver head girl smiled and replied with a soft " I don't mind" as she stared out into the crowed.
Sky joined her and a comfortable silence filled the two. After some time Sky looked over to see the girl gone. 'Strange' he thought, ' I didn't here her leave' he started to scan the crowed the familiar voice of a certain red head caught his attention.
"This is a lot of people" Bloom said as she walked up to him. He turned to face her "what? You didn't have parties in ..... California?" He teased. " oh he remembers!" Bloom exclaimed.
The two conversed until a fashionable blonde interrupted them. "Hey sky. Can we talk?" Stella asked, And with that bloom left to head outside leaving Sky to deal with his Ex Girlfriend.
