Silence erupted over the cave, the diamond deactivating and clinking as it dropped to the rock, its power vanished. The leaves and thick vines outstretched and twined around Storybrooke's buildings retreated, and Elena breathed a deep sigh of relief, picking herself up from the floor and brushing away messy bronze locks from her face.
"We're alive," Prince Charming exclaimed breathlessly, hugging Snow in relief and running over to help Emma up. Regina picked up the diamond, and Emma rushed over to Elena, pulling her up.
"We did it," Emma said in wonder, and Regina smiled slightly, walking over.
"Yes, we did," she replied, and Emma hugged Elena to her. "You okay?"
Elena nodded with a smile. "I'm fine. That was amazing."
"Gotta hand it to Henry," Charming said with a grin, "he's right about a lot of things!"
"Yes, he is," Emma agreed, "isn't that right, kid?"
But Henry wasn't there.
Elena closed her eyes in dread, biting down on her lip.
"Henry? Henry?"
The group followed after Emma as she held up her flashlight, searching for her son. Her walking turned into a run as she dropped down to the floor, bending over something.
"Emma, what is it?"
Emma picked up a broken arm of Henry's bag, and Elena gasped in shock.
"They took him..."
"Emma, you don't even know where you're going!" Snow White called after her as they all ran forward, searching.
"Doesn't matter, I have to find him - I'll track them down in hell if I have to."
Suddenly, Elena caught sight of Henry, held firmly by Greg and Demara. Greg noticed and threw the last magic bean into the ocean.
"The last bean!"
"They've opened a portal," Regina said, and Elena broke into a sprint, closely followed by the rest.
"Henry!"
Greg and Demara jumped, dragging Henry down with them as they disappeared into the whirling neons of the portal, closing behind them.
"No!" Emma screamed, and Charming held her back as she struggled, Snow taking hold of a frantic Elena. "We have to follow them, there has to be a way!"
"Not only do we not know where they went but Hook stole the last bean!" Regina said in despair.
"I don't care!"
"Without it, there's no way to follow."
"There has to be," Emma insisted, "we can't let them just take Henry!"
"They've taken Henry?"
Rumplestiltskin asked in surprise, approaching them from behind with Belle alongside him.
"Yeah. You're the Dark One - do something," Prince Charming told him.
"Gold, help us," Emma breathed.
"There's no way. I spent a lifetime trying to cross worlds to find my son. There's no way in this world without a portal!"
"So that's it," Regina cut in impatiently, "we've lost him forever? I refuse to believe that."
"Me too," Elena agreed, glaring at Rumple with a cold blue gaze. "He's like a brother to me. I'm not losing him."
Belle stepped forwards, looking over to the sea's horizon, puzzled. "What is that?"
