Elena's eyes shone with tears as she stared in horror at the motionless Henry, trembling in shock. Emma, Regina and Neal all ran over to him, Regina patting Elena's shoulder in distracted comfort. Elena looked up at Pan, who was no in the air with a smug smirk on his face. However, the smirk faltered as he caught sight of Elena's tear-stained face, pure fright and devastation in her expression.
"Henry, can you hear us?!"
"He passed out as soon as his heart went into Pan..."
"Is he breathing?!"
"Just hang in there, buddy..."
"What the hell'd you do to him?!" Emma demanded, glaring at Pan.
"Oh, I didn't do anything, Emma. It was Henry. He offered me his heart of his own free will."
Emma drew her sword in anger. "I'm gonna take it back from you."
But in an instant, Pan disappeared, reappearing in another spot as he picked up a small, dark box from a spot Elena hadn't seen previously.
"I don't think you have it in you," he mocked, "Rumplestiltskin didn't. Why should you?"
"Where is he?"
"What did you do?"
"He's right in this box. Safe and sound, and out of the way. Unfortunately for you, he can't hurt me anymore. And neither can you."
"Really?" Emma slashed his arm, and Elena winced, coming out of her trance. "How did that feel?"
"Like a tickle."
"How could you?" Elena whispered, and Pan's gaze shifted to her. "You- you lied to me! You promised me this was to save magic, to save Neverland - you told me you'd protect me with your life!"
"And I will," Peter answered, taking a step towards her - but she took two back, disgusted "Ella-"
"Don't," Elena warned with a dark glare Pan had never seen before. "I knew I shouldn't have trusted you. I knew I shouldn't have been stupid enough to think you cared about me-"
"But I do! Elena, don't you see?! You can stay here, on the island, like we said you would. And you can stay with me - forever."
"Are you absolutely out of your mind?!" Elena exclaimed in disbelief. "You seriously think I want to stay here with you after what you've done?! You killed my brother! You killed Henry - and for what?! To live forever, to stay young forever. Well, you can do that on your own. I don't want to be anywhere near you. You're... you're a monster."
Peter paused, taken aback by her words, her look. She was infuriated and mad, but upset and broken, questioning why she believed him in the first place. She didn't know him. She was just another pawn in his game. And he played her really well.
"Elena-"
"No! I should've never believed in you! I don't... I don't know you, Peter Pan. You're not who you used to be. You never were."
Pan didn't respond, his eyes dropping momentarily before he rose above the ground again, leaving the cave without another word. Emma hugged Elena tightly, stroking her hair.
"It's alright, kid. We're gonna figure this out. I promise."
"But... but how?"
"Don't you know anything about this place?" Regina asked suddenly, turning to Elena. "You've been here watching Pan for a long time. Is there anyone who knows where he might've gone?"
Elena thought for a moment, then nodded. "The Lost Boys. At the camp. They'll have some idea."
"Then to the camp it is."
