Lisa's parents had gone to a party for the evening. And all poor Lisa had to do was stay home and watch her two little brothers.

She was making pasta when the phone rang. Lisa answered. "I'm near," said a woman's voice. "Near where?" Lisa replied, but the other end was dead. A little shaken, Lisa checked on the kids and finished cooking. After dinner, she put the kids to bed, turned on the TV, and was flicking through the channels when the phone rang again ...
She ran to the phone before it woke the kids. "I'm closer," said the woman on the other end. "Excuse me?"said Lisa. But again, silence.

She called the operator. "I'm getting strange calls here and I was wondering if you can tell me where they came from?"she asked.

"No," replied the operator, "but I can put a tap on your line and trace any further calls ..."

Lisa woke up the boys. The phone rang. She told the kids to be quiet and answered. The woman's voice said, "I'm here now, and my, it is so sharp ..." She giggled. "Huh? Wh–What's so sharp?" Lisa blurted. "Where are you?" But the woman hung up.

Instantly the phone rang again. It was the operator. "Get out now! Those calls are coming from inside your house!"

Lisa slammed down the phone, grabbed her keys and the kids asks flew out of the front door. They got in the car and locked all the doors. Police cars came roasting up the driveway. They searched everywhere until they finally came to the attic ...

... there they found a middle-aged woman with wild hair and eyes sitting with a mobile phone and a butcher's knife, dribbling as she sharpened it on a stone.
