Chapter 6

Sani's POV:

I looked at the girl in front of me, it had been 2 hours after we arrived there. The girl had taken a small nap and seemed to be feeling a lot better.

"Okay so, what's your name?" I asked with a slight smile.

"It's Josy." The girl said, she still looked a bit scared.

"Okay, Josy, my name is Sani, and the black hole girl's name is Rez."

The girl now had a slight smile on her face, she was of course still a bit scared, but it was better than before.

"So how did your leg get hurt?" Rez said from my left, while lifting one eyebrow.

The smile on the girls face quickly disappeared again and her facial expression back into scared and nervous. "I was walking around in the forest, when a stranger attacked me out of nothing. I could quickly react and dodge, but I wasn't fast enough, so the sword of the stranger hit my leg anyway." Josy slowly explained.

"How did you escape?" I asked, curiosity getting the best of me.

"I threw him against a tree hoping to make him unconscious with my abilities, which are gravity and telekinesis. I ran back here as quick as I could and then you guys came in."

"Sounds like I can finally beat someone up." Rez said, I laughed slightly and Josy did too.

"I mean, I'll join you if we can actually find him. But I think he ran away already" Josy said, now with a smile again.

"Dammit" Rez mumbled under her breath.

Mercy's POV:

After about a minute more of laughing we all calmed down.

I crossed my arms. "I'm not standing up."

Duck let out an annoyed sigh. "Are you fucking kidding me." He facepalmed.

"I mean, we could train or hunt while she takes a break." Aki said and shrugged.

Duck pointed at Aki "Good idea! Let's fight."

I let out a sigh and facepalmed, but a small smile still appeared on my face.

I looked back up and saw that Duck had already thrown a fire ninja star at Aki.

Aki's POV:

I saw something that looked like a fire ball coming at me, I didn't think much of it and sliced through it with my water sword, making it disappear.

I reacted quickly after and concentrated to make it rain. 'So he has more than one specific ability. This is gonna be harder than I thought.'

I got dragged out of my thoughts when I felt the ground under me beginning to shake. I jumped away but because of the shaking ground I barely had any balance when I landed.

I thankfully didn't fall and got my balance back but when I looked in front of me Duck wasn't there.

"Behind you!" I heard mercy say, she was obviously bored.

But I still listened to her, I turned around and swung my sword with me, hitting Duck in his side which made him fall to the ground.

"That's not fair!" I heard Duck shout.

Mercy shrugged. "There aren't any rules in a battle, you have to be ready for anything."

Duck let out an annoyed sigh and stood up "Let's just continue the battle."

"Nope, I already won." I walked over to a tree and leaned against it.

"Bullshit." Duck responded.

"I got you on the ground and could've killed you right there and then, I won."

"Okay fine, but I want a rematch."

"Yeah yeah yeah." Mercy responded before I could. "But it's getting dark now, I'm gonna sleep." She stood up, wrapped her ribbons around some tree branches and lifted herself up until she could sit on a stable tree branch and released the ribbons. "Are you guys coming too?"

Duck sighed, walked over to the tree and lifted his arms up.

Mercy wrapped her ribbons around his wrist and pulled him up to a different tree branch. She then released the ribbons and looked at me.

I slowly walked over to the tree, still kind of confused and a bit scared, but before I could really think about it mercy had wrapped her ribbons around my arms and pulled me up to another tree branch.

It was a bit scary at first but I quickly got used to it, I started getting sleepy and eventually fell asleep.
