Sani's POV:

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around the room. We had all fallen asleep after Rez patched Josy up. I noticed that Rez was awake.

"Good morning." I whispered not wanting to wake Josy up.

"Took you long enough to wake up." She replied, as expected.

"Josy is literally still asleep."

"She actually needs her rest because she's hurt. You're just lazy."

"Well I'm sorry I had an actual sleeping schedule before this all." I said with a smirk.

"You should be, an actual sleeping schedule should be illegal by now."

From the corner of my eye I could see Josy slowly open her eyes. "Good job, you woke Josy up."

Rez turned her head around so she could see Josy and then probably also noticed that Josy was now awake. "You spoke louder idiot." Rez said as a reply.

"That's bull-" I got cut off by Rez shoving her hand into my face, I instantly pushed  it away and tried to speak again, but of course, she cut me off, again.

"Good morning Josy! Feel any better?" I heard Rez say.

Josy was now rubbing her eyes, but a few seconds later she stopped and answered. "Yeah, a lot actually." She said with a slight smile, she didn't look that tired.

"Great! Can we know your ability now?"

"Oh, yes of course. I can kind of control gravity, like this." Josy said and jumped up, but instead of immediately falling back to the ground, she turned 180 degrees so her feet were above and landed on the roof. In the end she did a small bow as if she had just performed a show.

I gave her a small applause while Rez asked her next question. "Why 'kind off?'"

"I'm still training, so I don't want to be to full of myself." She replied and slowly fell down back onto the ground, so she was standing normally again. "What about you guys?"

I instantly spoke up, this time faster than Rez. "I can control lightning." I said as I lifted up my hand, you could see small sparks jumping around and on it.

"And I can stop time, you probably noticed when you first saw me."

"It actually kind of looked like teleporting."

"Yeah, I guess it kind of is for you guys." Rez said and shrugged.

"So what do you guys wanna do?" Josy asked.

Before one of us could answer I saw Rez disappear from in front of me, an arrow landing right where she was sitting. It seemed like it would've gone right through her heart if she hadn't moved.

After realizing this I quickly stood up, I wanted to grab my bow from my back, but it was laying a bit out of my reach. I turned around to look at my enemy, only to see Rez getting smacked against one of the walls by him, his hand gripped around her neck. I wanted to shoot a lighting bolt at him, but if I did it would probably shock Rez too. So instead of doing that, I used my time to grab my bow and an arrow.

I pulled the string on my bow back with the arrow and looked back at my opponent. Rez appeared behind him and kicked him in his back, making him almost lose balance and giving herself the time to jump back a little. I could see her skin on her arm slightly starting to crack. We had trained a lot before the virus reached our village, so combined with the enemy attacking us right now she's probably starting to overuse her power.

While our enemy was still trying to get back his balance I quickly charged my arrow with lighting and shot him in his arm. His scream only lasted a few seconds though, since he was pretty quick to pull the arrow out and throw it away, making the shocking stop by doing so. While my eyes were focused on his blood slowly dripping down his arm, Josy came in and pushed him right in the stomach with her right hand.

It all looked like it was happening in slow-motion, it seemed like a normal push at first, but his feet weren't touching the ground anymore and not even a second later he got send out of the treehouse at a high speed. I could hear a tree shaking because of the impact about a second later.

I looked back at Josy and noticed that her right hand and a bit of her arm was emitting a yellow-glow. I assumed that was because of her power, since it was the same hand she had pushed our opponent with a few seconds ago.

I wanted to let out a sigh out of relief, but instead I saw Josy jump to the side, landing next to me, while five arrows went right past were she was standing. One of them ripping off a small edge of her cape and pinning it to the wall behind us.

I was surprised, how could he shoot five arrows at the same time? It must've been his power, but if it wasn't he was obviously skilled, either way this wasn't a good thing.

Fucking hell.
