Chapter 2:

Camila’s POV:

After lunch with Lauren and the girls we all went back to our dorms so we can all finish unpacking. Lauren is so sweet, I think i may have a bit of a girl crush on her.. I’ve had crushes on girls before but have never pursued any of them, I’m too nervous about what people will think.

Lauren and I didn’t talk much as we unpacked because we were focused on getting all our things set up, but I was getting bored, so I had an idea to get to know her better.

“Hey do you mind if I play music? I always do things better with a beat going.” I asked her.

“Please do, I’m the same way.”

“Sweet, I can see we will be good roomies,” she chuckled at my use of the word ‘roomies’ “Now let’s hope we have the same taste in music.” I said as I hit play on my phone, which was connected to my little bluetooth speaker, which actually went surprisingly loud. The ‘do do da do da do do da do started in Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars.

“Oh my God we definitely have the same taste in music” Lauren said as she started humming and moving to the beat. She bent over to pick something up and my eyes focused on her perfect ass as my head turned and lips slightly parted in lust. She turned back around and may have caught me, she smirked slightly. I blushed furiously and turned away, pretending to do something. She started dancing to the music and fuck the way her hips moved was perfect. She put her arms over her head and did silly dance moves, her shirt lifted slightly and revealed a toned stomach, I couldn’t help but to look.

 “C’mon dance with me!”

“Oh um.. I can’t dance..” I replied shyly.

“Neither can I c’mon it’s okay.” She grabbed my hands and I started dancing with her. I tripped over something on the floor, klutzy as usual, and fell over. Lauren started laughing hysterically until she realized that I was hurt. She bent over by me as I held my ankle.

“Oh my god Camz are you okay? I’m so sorry I shouldn’t have left that there. What hurts?” She sounded panicky which warmed my heart.

 “It’s my ankle” I said.

“Let me see?” She asked. I extended my leg towards her and she slowly and lightly moved up the hem of my jeans and lowered my sock.

“It looks like you just twisted it, it’ll hurt for a few days but you’ll be okay. I’ll go get you some ice. Here I’ll help you onto the bed.” She said as she reached out for me and I stood on my good ankle and sat on her bed, as it was the closer one the moment. She ran out and got some ice from the fridge in the common room and put it in a plastic bag. She sat next to me and told me to put my leg up onto the bed and extend it, so I did.

“Which side hurts the most?” She asked, and I pointed to the left side. I turned my leg so that side was up and she lightly placed the ice on it. “There, it’ll be okay. I’m sorry Camila.”

“It’s not your fault don’t worry about it,” I said. She smiled at me and got up to get something, she was shuffling through a box of clothes that had yet to be put away. She came back over to me and sat down again.

“Here, you’re probably gonna need this. I sprained my ankle a few months ago so I need it when i work out. You can use it though.

“Thanks Lauren,” I said with a smile. “Can I say something that’s kinda… weird?”
