"Sometimes trusting a friend is the hardest thing to do. Even the closest friends can become enemies." James Merrow
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Holland, it's not looking so good for you."
I raised an eyebrow more than confused at his statement. "Me? What do you mean."
"Multiple people at the party said they heard you give her a death threat... after she kissed Stiles." He looked back down at the ground and I felt like my lungs were collapsing. Did he really think I did something to hurt this girl. Make her go missing? What was even worse was that when I looked at Stiles he looked as if he was trying to think about what his dad said too, like he almost believed him. "Holland, I don't want to believe it but it's just- I know you."
"Exactly. You both know me. I'm all talk! I would never kill or kidnap someone." I looked between the two of them before Stiles looked at me and nodded. It was obvious that he believed me. Anyways, when would I have had the time to do anything to her considering I haven't left Stiles' side since last night.
"We hope that it's just a series of bad decisions based on too much to drink. But, if you remember anything else, you call me. All right?" He glanced up at Stiles before shifting his gaze to me. "I'm sorry Holland, I hope this takes a turn away from you."
"Yeah." I scoffed. "Me too."
"So, you think they kidnapped Heather to turn her?" Scott questioned Stiles after listening to his theory. I was still trying to wrap my head around the fact that the sheriff, Noah Stilinski, my boyfriend's dad, the man who has known me since I was five, the guy who's letting me stay at his house with his son, thinks I had something to do with this.
"Derek says it's easier to turn teenagers..." Stiles explains further.
"But what would a pack of Alphas need with a Beta?" Scott held his hand in front of him in a questioning manner.
"Scott, I don't know. I don't care. Alright? This girl... Our moms were best friends before mine died, okay? We used to take frickin' bubble baths together when we were three. I gotta find her." Stiles spun his hand in a circle while talking. They use their hands a lot when they talk.
In all honesty, as much as I wanted to be furious with Stiles' dad right now, my heart ached for Stiles. I felt awful. My main priority was to find this girl who he's known for forever and obviously has a connection with.
"Then we need Isaac to remember." Scott insisted.
"How?" I began to talk but was quickly cut off by Stiles.
"How? Peter and Derek couldn't do it. You know any other Werewolves with a better trick?"
Scott stopped in his tracks making me and Stiles stop as well. "Maybe not a Werewolf... but someone who knows a lot about 'em."
