chapter 4 : lupe's end

My heart was beating fast. I couldn't sleep. Life was to harsh to bare. Then i remembered Mom's desk has pills. I ran quietly towards my mom's study.  I opened the cabinet and grabbed the pills hesitantly. For me I in that position I was ready to end my life right here right now.  I ran to the kitchen to get a glass of water. I drank a little it felt cool on my skin filling me with relief, but I knew wat I had to do. I harshly swallowed the water then eating the pills. With in minutes I was in a death like state for collapsing on to the ground that bared my body. Angelica was sleeping in the guest room because she slept over. She woke up startled when she heard a vague thunk from the kitchen. She ran down the hall to check on me but found nothing. Then with a her might sprinted to the kitchen hopping I was safe. She turned on the light then saw my body there laying in peace on the floor. Her face of hope was now a face of grief. She held my body checking my pulse but nothing. She muttered" jokes over lupe". But I didn't move. She grabbed my body and began to cry.
